Liked: Such a fantastic hostel. I would highly reccommend this place. The staff were super helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were always clean and the breakfast was amazing. They also had a kitchen that sold cherap meals and a great back garden to sit and relax. Definitly well worth it.

Liked: the hostel is very close to the train station and easy to reach, its also only a short walk to the duomo and the other attractions in florence. the breakfast is amazing and free! you can choose from omlets, french toast, juice, eggs, bacon, etc.... one of the best breakfasts you can get (u order a plate of food as if you are at a restaurant) we had a 4 person private with our own bedroom, the room was very clean and the bathroom was amazing. we actually had an actual shower, as opposed to a shower head and a floor. there was cheap food and drinks for sale in the lobby. def a good stay for any aged person.

Liked: They have a free walking tour which can give you a general idea of the city. Also, the location is very good and you can go to the main attractions easily.

Liked: Very clean and of a high standard in terms of facilities in both the room and the lobby and eating areas. The location is great, close to the station and not far to walk to the Duomo and other main attractions. The only downsides of the hostel is there is no bar or common room so the atmosphere is lacking and it is more difficult to meet people, also some of the staff on reception are a little rude and unhelpful. Breakfast is really good for free! Overall I would stay here again and recommend it but do not expect to make many new friends unless you get in a dorm with cool people.

Liked: Superb location, great breakfast not to mention the dinner (large plates of pasta or pizza for 2,50€!). The free walking tour was good as well. The dorms (at least the one I stayed at) were huge. To make it a perfect hostel, there was fast and free internet with no shortage of computers.

Liked: Having PCs in every room was great, and the PCs in the lobby were even video equipped for skype, which was very thoughtful. Free breakfast and tours were well appreciated, and the lockers were large and already came with locks.

Liked: Great location, friendly & cooperative staff, free two-part walking tour with great guides. Cheap simple & tasty dining options at the restaurant; rich breakfast included in the price! Great inner yard. To sum up, good value for money + lot's of extra stuff not offered elsewhere = top choice for your stay in Florence.

Liked: The breakfast was AMAZING! You could choose fom a menu and they cooked it fresh for you. I had a delicious omelette! Their pictures on hostelbookers don't really show the property well, but trust me, it's beautiful. They had free computers with skype and computers in your room, plus huge lockers to that could fit all of your stuff.

Liked: Archi Rossi is a very large hostel and also very efficient, two meals a day are included which keeps your wallet a little thicker, its clean and the showers are ok but because of its size it is not very intimate and a little impersonal but i feel these are minor things if you are a socailable traveler.

Liked: It was extremely close to the station, and offered a city walking tour with a knowledgeable guide. Friendly staff helped locate a hard to find booking made online (to avoid - take name of website and confirm number -OR- a printout with you, which is a bit of a struggle if you've been away from home for a while)

Liked: This property is in a great location (just a walking distance away from train station, main sites of Florence and heaps of very reasonably priced Italian restaurants). The free breakfast each day was great and the staff were very friendly. My only negative comments were:1. The central heating system was locked and set at 26 degrees each night. There was no way for us to turn this off so we had to open the windows. Would be good to give people the option not to have this.2. The paint was peeling above the bed in room 24 and onto our pillows during the night. The premises themselves were very well maintained and clean though.3. Like many hostels, the water was only luke warm (even at 11pm and 6am in the morning).All of this aside, I would still recommend this place to other people and stay here again if I was in Florence.
