Customer reviewIt was like staying at home, so welcoming and warm and friendly. Being able to play guitar and see a puppy was wonderful as well. Great location, with a park nearby complete with an amazing view of the city. |

KARLY GNIELOn arrival at Dany House we were greeted with a glass of Florence wine while we were checked in. We were shown the facilities and also given a map highlighting all of the sights to check out. The dorm room is quite large so there is not a lot of privacy but great way to meet people. Especially when they serve up wine and dessert for everyone each night! The piano was fun as was the playstation and there was free Internet to use as well. A really cosy place that is more like a house than a hostel, they weren't lying about the black lab either! |

Megan Garratt-ReedGREAT people. So friendly and welcoming, and great services: free internet & wifi, free breakfast, even a flat screen tv with video games - all for the lowest price my whole trip. There's also free wine (and often food, too) at night which helps with the friendly atmosphere. My only complaint would be that the noise of traffic was a bit loud since I'm a light sleeper, but earplugs would have easily solved that issue. I would absolutely recommend Dany House to anyone going to Florence - it was the most pleasant hosteling experience I've ever had. |

Customer reviewDany House was a little second floor place about a 15 min walk from the Duomo. The family who runs it are the nicest people and not only provide free breakfast but Fredrico also puts together some dinner and wine every night! They are very helpful when you first get there with a map and circling all of the big places to see. They really actually care about your stay. if there is a problem they will fix it, it is fun to cook in the kitchen for dinner and overall it is just a really cute little place very different from other larger not very friendly hostels. I would recommend this hostel if you are traveling in a medium sized group of 6 or so because it is a little bit of a walk but I would say totally worth it because of the people that run it. |

Noah ZelvisWe found this place because it was very cheap. It's about 15 minutes walk from the Duomo, but for the price it's worth it. The price includes breakfast, and often (although it's not advertized) they bring out pizza and sandwiches around dinnertime. In fact, they did this every day we were here except Sunday. Beds and bathrooms are nice, but what really makes this place special are the owners. They are here every day, and they make you feel like family. Simply put, they go out of their way to make you feel at home. It's been a wonderful stay for us and I will definitely stay here if I ever end up in Florence again. |

Jan TabakaReally good option to consider... or honestly speaking - there is nothing to consider, just go there, stay a couple of nights and that's it - you'll get really good value for virtually no money :) Very friendly and helpful staff - fun to talk to and really, really nice 'welcome basket' - it makes you feel very comfortable. Find out yourself if you're looking for good dorms for no price :) |
