Liked: Red wine as a welcome drink. Friendly and helpful staff, hostel small but extremely cosy environment. Value for money. Snacks and red wine to drink in the evening which is great.

Disliked: Waiting for the toilet

Liked: We loved staying here- it really was like a big family! Johnathan and Clifford made our stay really comfortable and helped us have an amazing time! Johnathan's grandfather's vineyard's wine is delicious, and the wine flows very freely at the danyhouse, as does meeting people!

Liked: We had such an amazing time with Johnathon at Dany House! He instantly makes you feel at home. The location is walking distance to the centre of town, the food is lovely, and the beds are super comfy! Highly recommend this place!

Disliked: Nothing really - only one bathroom so you have to wait for others.

Liked: Dany House felt like home. Great atmosphere, free wine. Clifford & Jonathan were the best.

Disliked: The bed I slept on wasn't the best, but all the others seemed fine.

Liked: The staff is extremely friendly and there is a fantastic atmosphere. I felt really comfortable and safe. I would recommend it either if you want to relax or party.

Liked: The people are so nice, both staff and other guests. The atmosphere is great and Jonathon and Clifford really go to an effort to make you welcome. It's a good location, etc, etc.

Disliked: It was a little small, so you don't get to meet as many other travellers, but the atmosphere makes up for that I think. I guess my only criticism is the little bathroom space. But if you're willing to wait for the bathroom it's a great place.

Liked: When I arrived there, Jonathan offered me a cup of coffee and a piece of cake, and my pleasant stay in Dany House begun. Jonathan was very very helpful and nice. He explained everything to me using the free map offered. He offered us free wine and snack every night and everyone in the hostel sitting around the table and chatted with each other, which was really like a family get-together, I love Dany House.

Disliked: It' s a little bit far from the places of interests, taking about 20 mins to walk there.

Liked: Staff is great! We love the Jonathans and Clifford! Free wine every night and breakfast every morning is a big plus too- you get to know everyone staying there.

Disliked: No lockers in dorms and only one bathroom for the floor. A bitnoisy too from the main road traffic

Liked: Jonathon and Ava are incredible hosts, they are very friendly and make you feel at home, the wine and crisps every night and the free breakfast is nice, free wifi and computer to use, rooms are nice and spacious.

Disliked: There is always a line up for the bathroom, annoying but just try to get in before anyone else..

Disliked: only one bathroom for all no kitchen to prepare food, only microwave and fridge sad breakfast, but like italian...sweet, and coffee...:-)

Liked: Johnathon and Clifford, my two main hosts, were incredibly friendly guys whom bent over backwards to help you in any way possible. They certainly made me feel a part of the famiy and my visit to Firenze was made all the more enjoyable because of that. Rooms were clean as was the bathroom, beds comfortable, and exceptional value for money.

Disliked: Lack of a kitchen available for use but this appears to be more common rather than the exception from my experiences so far with Italian hostels.

Liked: It's a very good place to stay in Florence. Clean, with very very very helpful staff and a common room where you can enjoy a nice evening with other guest.

Disliked: The breakfast was very simple. But there are other places to have a good panini!

Liked: Staff is extremelly nice, sometimes even too much (it feels wierd a little), however they are good. Place is small, but rather homely.

Disliked: No kitchen, just one toilet.

Liked: Staff are amazing, feels like a home not a hostel! Loved the free communal breakfast and wine at night, good wifi and beds. Definitely recommend this place !!!

Liked: Everything.. Dany House is the best hostel I've stayed at on my trip. I planned 3 days in Florence and ended up staying about 2 weeks. The place itself is great, and the staff are amazing, always willing to help and recommend great things to do and places to eat. The free wine time every night is especially cool. If you go to Florence definitely stay at Can't House, its the best!

Liked: It 'was the best hostel Italian, Jonathan, Clifford and Ella were wonderful. I was shown a map, with the best places to visit. Free breakfast and wine in the evening. Close to major tourist attractions. Definitely recommend everyone to visit Florence and stay at Dany House.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Absolutely everything! Jonathon and Clifford are amazing, we were only staying 3 nights and ended up staying 3 more. It's a small hostel but that just adds to the stmosphere. Free wine and chips every night! Comfy beds and all facilities are great

Liked: Everything. But the biggest would be the atmosphere. The staff are so incredibly welcoming and helpful. The free wine and chips at night mean everyone spends the evenings together. You really do feel like a little community. I have been to a lot of hostels now and this was absolutly one of the very best.

Disliked: The breakfast didn't start until 9 so if you wanted to start early to beat the queues you would have to skip breakfast. Or resign yourself to starting later. But that is a tiny thing to put up with when everything else was so amazing.
