Liked: Jonathan and Ella are wonderful hosts and so much fun! I would recommend them to anyone. A really nice, cosy place!

Disliked: A very minor thing: squeaky beds.

Liked: dany house is an amazing hostel. the staff jonathon and ella are great, location is in a good location close to many sights and their wine is the best! really enjoyable stay if your looking foward one of the hostels that make you feel like home even when your on the other side of the world!

Liked: It's THE place to stay in Florence. I specially liked the relaxed atmosphere and the staff, always welcoming and charming.

Liked: Dany House is incredible, Jonothon, Ella and Morgan are so friendly and welcoming. This is a home more than a Hostel. Its clean, friendly, comfy and fun. The only place to stay in Florence. Can't wait to come back guys.

Liked: Jonathon was so nice and helpful, kinda creepy at some points, but overall, defintely a great guy. WiFi was great. One bathroom wasn't much of a problem. Free wine and chips was a great addition.

Liked: This is really the best hostel I have ever stayed at! Jonathan and Ella are super friendly and it attracts the kind of people who are very warm and welcoming. Immediately you feel like you're being included into a family. Jonathan serves his grandfather's wine every night, which is always delicious! The entire hostel is always clean and cozy.

Disliked: The hostel is a bit further from the city center (it's about a 20 minute walk.) With that said, it's also a very enjoyable walk and you see little museums and such on the way back that you wouldn't have visited otherwise if you stayed in the center.

Liked: The atmosphere made this hostel one of the best parts of the trip. It felt more like being welcomed into a home than staying at a hostel. The best part was getting a chance to meet all the other travelers staying at Dany House, which was facilitated by the delicious (and free) wine Jonathan and Ella provided every night. If you're staying in Florence, there's really no better option than this place.

Disliked: There wasn't much to dislike. The room was a bit cold I guess, but nothing a couple blankets didn't solve.

Liked: Jonathan and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The atmosphere was really relaxed and it was easy to mingle and make friends.

Disliked: There was only one bathroom, which was slightly inconvenient, but that was only a minor problem.

Liked: 1. Johnathan and Ella are super nice and helpful (Johanathan gives every guest a detailed introduction of where-to-go), that is essential when you are not used to travelling alone or to a foreign city. 2. Nice wine and finger food provided for free after 9pm 3. Internet is free, one PC is available

Disliked: 1. Wifi does not work well for the most of the time (This could jeopardize its advantage of offering free interenet) 2. 20 minutes walk to major sightseeing sites (In the morning it is fine, but after walking for 6 hours in museums, walking back to Dany's house can be exhausive)

Liked: Jonathan was the most helpful and pleasant man I encountered on my entire trip. He greeted me at the door by name, helped me carry my bags up the stairs, and offered me a cup of his grandfather's Tuscan wine and some chips as he showed me the map of the city and told me what I should see in my one day in Florence. The location was excellent. The atmosphere in the hostel is AMAZING. It's incredibly clean and really nicely decorated. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Florence.

Disliked: NOTHING. Stay there.

Liked: Jonathan was really friendly and immediately offered us drinks and chips upon arrival. Every night at 9 pm he provides free wine for the guests and loves to take pictures of everyone staying at his hostel.

Disliked: If i had to say something, it would be the location. It's not directly in the city center, but is luckily right by a bus stop and isn't a far walk either.

Liked: Very friendly and warm. The hosts were incredibly helpful and the facilities were always extremely clean.

Disliked: Sharing 2 bathrooms amongst 16 people could get to be a little hectic at times... especially when both were being occupied for showers. Although the breakfast was cheap, I kind of wish it had been included in the price.

Liked: Jonathan and Ella were so friendly, welcoming, helpful and generous that we felt at home immediately! Everything was very clean and looked after, we would love to come back and would recommend to anyone.

Disliked: It was a little further from the historical centre than other hostels BUT the atmosphere, staff and character more than made up for it. It was only a short walk to the centre anyway.

Liked: The staff were so lovely and couldn't be more helpful. They gave us free Tuscan wine every night and biscuits and coffee or tea for breakfast. The place felt more like a home than a hostel

Disliked: There weren't many other people staying there at the time so it was a little lonely but that's not the fault of the hostel

Liked: Jonathon is great! This place was a fun visit, would definitely stay again, especially if they relocate closer to the center of town.

Disliked: Hallway smelled like smoke, but that's a very small complaint, it didn't enter the rooms. The place was a ways out from town, but worth the trip.

Liked: Jonathan and his girlfriend Ela are wonderful and very welcoming. The hostel is SUPER clean. This hostel brings about that feel you get after a long trip, and you cant wait to come home. Dany house is really the home away from home. If your go to florence, your traveling alone and you need a break from the normal hosteling--come here
