Liked: The staff was friendly and very helpful to find my way in Florence. The hostel is also very clean and safe. I enjoyed very much my stay there!!!!

Liked: Ella and Jonathan are really wonderful people! So incredibly welcoming and they really take the time to get to know you and spend time talking to you about Florence as well. Both incredibly accomodating too. The apartment is great too. Lots of room around the place. The common space is very friendly with music playing all the time, free wine at night, free internet, and a cool space to meet people. Really great place to stay!

Disliked: Nothing! It was awesome experience. It might be far out from the centre of town, but I kind of liked that.

Liked: The owners, Jonathan and Ella, were so friendly and welcoming. The nightly free wine and breakfasts in the morning were excellent.

Liked: The staff was very nice and welcoming and everyone was treated as if they were family. It was very clean too.

Disliked: Even though this website stated that they take cards, they don't which was a bit irritating when we got there.

Liked: Jonathan&Ella were simply the friendliest hosts we've ever had. The day we reached Florence, the buses were on strike. With no transport nor map, we had no idea how to get to the hostel. Jonathan was kind enough to fetch us from the station to the hostel amidst all the heavy traffic! We were offered free Tuscan wine and chips every night in the common room, where there was a xbox, piano, and free wi-fi! Just wanted to thank Dany House for making our stay in Florence a pleasant one!

Liked: Dany house is wonderful! It's like family an jonathan ana ela are very helpful. If I come back in florence I'll return in dany house. Jonathan is like a brother. Thank you for everything. Morgan is the best dog in the world

Liked: Jonathan and Ella were so friendly and welcoming!! they show me all the sites to visit and what to do in Florence. Red wine session every night, good opportunity to meet people, the host always offer additional snacks!!

Liked: the guys running it are really friendly and helpful... give a nice introduction to florence and put on free wine at 8pm each night... 1 free computer to use and good breakfaste for 2.50

Disliked: we got put on a fold out couch instead of beds because they over booked. no secure storage for your luggage. quite expensive!

Liked: The people were super nice! It was a very homey feel and the owners sincerely wanted you to have a great time in Florence. They told you all the great places to go and gave the name of restaurants that were cheap and very Italian. It's a super friendly place.

Disliked: I really couldn't complain about much. I could see why some may complain about the location because it's about a 15 minute walk from the Duomo, but it really isn't anything. It's a completely straight walk and you find great non-touristy places along the way.

Liked: Jonathan and his girlfriend were absolutely great. Strangely, I felt kinda "home"; in a completely foreign country. This was so much better than any other hostel I have ever experienced. And in fact, it was quite better than most of the hotels that I've experienced so far. I absolutely liked the atmosphere. It was essential to how I experienced Florence. Thank you Jonathan and Ela :)

Liked: Great atmosphere aided by the staff who really foster a sense of community at the hostel. Highly recommend for a solo traveler.

Disliked: I always like to have lockers, but the place did feel safe.

Liked: danny and ella are the NICEST people ever. They make sure your trip is amazing. The breakfast was delicious!!!!!! the location was great ...10 minute walk into the historic center, 15 mins to the station. Not bad at all. And florence is one of the most beautiful places in Italy I have seen. Anddd the rooms are gorgeous and so clean. Will definitely be back to see you guys!! xxxx

Liked: Jonathan and Ella are the best. Super friendly and welcoming and they really do make the place feel like a home away from home. Jonathans grandfathers Tuscany wine is amazing. The place is colorful and cozy.

Disliked: No lockers in the bedrooms and no kitchen for guests to use (only microwave and fridge).Other than that the place is great.

Liked: Jonathan and Ella are extremely nice and welcoming. They really try to create a family-like atmosphere, which would be especially nice for someone traveling alone.

Disliked: It's a very long walk to the city center. If I went to Florence again, I would want to stay somewhere closer in. Also, there is only one bathroom for 10 people!

Liked: The hosts did try to be helpful, although they don't seem to be up to date on what's going on around Florence. The price was economical.

Disliked: The hostel is quite a walk from the heart of the city and most of the sites you will want to visit. It is also on a very busy street with traffic noise literally all night long. In addition, there is no curfew, so guests may come and go quite late. The beds are quite saggy as well. So between the street noise, guests coming in late, and uncomfortable beds, it's not a very good night sleep. Also, you get no privacy or place to put your things.

Liked: We were in Dany House last weekend, and it was a great experience and the best start discovering Firence. We got a map with a detailed description of the whole city by Jonathan, who lives the Dany House with heart and soul. By the way during this description he proffer us wine (delicious wine from his grandfather, totally orgenic!!) and cakes. We felt very welcome at this moment and during the whole stay in Dany House! We were very satisfied choosing this Hostel. I do recommend this Hostel, totally. And the crazyness is even reflected in the street numbers: they go the following: 2-4-6-10-12-and then 8 Dany House!
