Liked: The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The breakfast was good value for money.

Disliked: It was a bit noisy in the hostel and outside. We had to wait to use the bathroom because it was shared by quite a few people.

Liked: Not much at all.

Disliked: It felt like we were staying in someone elses house, who didn't want us there. Overpriced, no common area, no kitchen or utensils. Staff were out a lot of the time so it was hard to ask questions. LOUD traffic.

Liked: Jonathan is an amazing person who provided all the information you needed and also was very accommodating. I was due to leave via night train, and he let me hang around and shower till the evening as well. The hostel is wonderful as it's basically a converted flat, which is large and spacious. The bathroom was very clean and it's only a 15-20 minute walk into the main city area, which is a nice walk as it allows you to explore the city as you go. I would highly recommend this hostel! It's full of warmth and character, and since it's not massive you'll get to know everyone very soon. It's more like a homestay - where else can you walk into the next room for a nice breakfast at a family table?

Liked: Jonathan and Ella are easily the best hostel operators, making you feel at home and part of the Dany House family instantly. Facilities are kept immaculate, very good place to meet fellow travellers, and overall just an awesome experience, one to write home about.

Disliked: Nada.

Liked: I liked how there was a common room, where everybody could eat breakfast and chill out.

Liked: Dany House was perfect in every way. We enjoyed our time with Jonathan and Ella- they were so accommodating and friendly. We also ended up meeting the best people there. The family dinners are a must!

Disliked: There was no kitchen and there were only 2 bathrooms for 20 people.

Liked: The staff were great and the location was just a short walk from the city center. Everything as decorated well and it really did feel like being athome for a few days.

Liked: Jonathan was great. Absolutely the most inviting hostel host I have yet to meet. He welcomed us the first day with a smile and wine. He is generous, kind, and sincere in everything he does. He will do anything to make your stay better. He orientates you to the city, let's you know good restaurants in the area, points out cheap eats, the super market, and tells you the what's what of Florence. The hostel atmosphere is great. A small hostel located a short walk from the city's historic center. Every night Jonathan pours free wine for the hostel and everyone enjoys each others company. Some of the top hostel experiences on my trip. I can't recommend it enough. Even as we left the hostel Jonathan was taking pictures, and gave us his cell phone number telling us to call him from Rome (our next stop) if we had any problems because he knows Rome well and could help us out if we needed it. He was a much welcomed peace of mind to a worried traveler.

Liked: Non capisco come possono le persone lamentarsi di questo ostello, lo staff è eccezionale, gli ambienti sono puliti ed è a solo 10 minuti dal centro. Tutto passa in secondo piano perché l'atmosfera che si trova al dani house ti fa sentire come a casa tua. Consiglio di prendere anche la gustosa e ricca colazione ad un ottimo prezzo!!

Liked: The host Jonathon was so friendly and helpful. Also there was wine and snacks every evening. This made it a place I wanted to hang out. I loved it.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The owners make this little place feel like you're part of a family. Really friendly and helpful. Close to bus, although a little tricky to find at first. Clean, comfortable. Only a 3 rooms so small and cheery.

Disliked: Only 1 toilet and bathroom. Wasn't a huge problem as there isn't many rooms, but there was the occasional wait. No lockers but there didn't seem to be any security issues.

Liked: Jonathan is SUPER nice. the location is great. only thing is that there is only 1 bathroom for 10 people.

Disliked: no kitchen, the only sink we have was the bathroom sink

Liked: Jonathan truely is the perfect host. Incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Disliked: Be aware that the front facing rooms (like the 8 bed dorm) are close to the street and can be loud at night.

Liked: This was actually the first time I'd stayed in a hostel, and it was great. Jonathan and Ellie were SO warm and nice. The hostel is very nicely decorated and the general vibe was friendly and welcoming. It was so easy to meet people, just sitting around and chatting. I don't think any future hostels will compare!

Disliked: Not far from the center, but not in the center-- just something to know.

Liked: Extremely friendly hosts, especially Jonathon. They offered wine as soon as we arrived and gave us a quick overview of the city and places to go to. Free wifi. Decent breakfast.

Disliked: Only one shared bathroom. It's a long walk to the center of the city.
