Liked: Jonathan is the nicest hostel owner ever. He really made this place into a great community, and I think everyone at the hostel had a great time.

Liked: Accurate directions, clean sheets (I know, it should be the rule in the hostels), common area to meet people, very good breakfast for 2.50, free wine every night.

Disliked: Being picky, I could say that you need to get the bus to go anywhere.

Liked: The hospitality is amazing, everything was above and beyond. Great place to meet people, it truly is like having a family for a few days. Will recommend to anyone!

Disliked: Maybe just street noise at night, but what can you do about that?

Liked: I liked everything about this place. What really made this place great was the staff. Jonathan was an amazing host and cared about every single person in the hostel.

Disliked: No AC :/

Liked: The staff was sooo friendly and welcoming.. free wine and a treat every night at 9pm! Free use of the computer.. a small, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean and spacious.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Jonathan and Ella were fantastic hosts! Anyone traveling alone should definitely stay here. You will meet so many great people when Jonathan puts out free wine at 9pm, and then the whole gang often goes out together! Plus, Jonathan sent us to a place that makes DELICIOUS Italian food with a discount for us at Dany House. We had HUGE, delicious meals for only 9 euros each! Thanks Dany House!

Disliked: Security Lockers might be nice, but I had no problem. Everyone there is very friendly, neat, and trustworthy.

Liked: The owner is an excellent guy! Really nice indead. We were treated very well and the atmosphere in the hostel is excellent.

Disliked: The room got too warm during the night.

Liked: Everthing! Staff was really friendly and made us feel right at home. Also, it was a good place to meet people as there's a get together session every night with free wine provided.

Liked: Ella and Jonathan were very friendly and directed us to everything we needed to find. Everything was clean and well maintained, so it was great for the price. Free internet in the common room (wireless and also one computer to use) and free wine! The breakfast for 2.50 was also pretty good. They also let us store our luggage there for the day after we checked out.

Disliked: It was a little crowded. Another bathroom would be great. Overall we liked it though and wanted to stay another day, but they were booked solid.

Liked: Very friendly staff, very! You just feel at home there. Free wine and chips every night so it is easy to chat with everyone. There is no kitchen but they offer a fridge and microwave. There is a TV with DVD's and a XBOX so plenty of things to do. Thank you Dany and Ella, you were very nice to us!

Disliked: It is a little place so if you don't like your roomate you are stuck with them.

Liked: The owners are extremely lovely and live in the hostel. It's more like staying at someone's apartment. I've been travelling for over a year and haven't stayed in many hostels with this much character.

Disliked: There is one bathroom and toilet between 10 people (and of course, people still take 20 minute showers), the rooms are extremely hot and the noise of ambulances and motorbikes speeding by outside is utterly awful.

Liked: Johnathan, Ella and Morgan are amazing hosts!! This hostel really felt like home. It was very clean and in a really authentic part of the city. Free wine every night (never full and never empty). The breakfast was really good. This was a really great place to stay for 10 days!

Liked: Jonathan and Ella are very very nice!! make you feel so warm and welcoming. Must be part of the reason why you love this city and make you wanna stay longer in Florence! Not to mention all those facilities. Juz feel bad didn't try the breakfast prepared by ella :( Hope to go again!

Liked: EVERYTHING! Jonathan and Ellie were absolutely fantastic hosts who provided us with excellent service and a welcoming environment. Such a great atmosphere....Jonathan really makes sure you feel at home and part of the family. Great place to meet different people. We stayed at a lot of hostels but this one is the absolute best!!!!! At the end of a long day of sightseeing, it always felt like we were coming back to our home :) Missing Jonathan and everyone at the Dany House!!

Disliked: NOTHING.

Liked: Great host! lots of extras available, like board games, guitar etc for the evenings. Good common room.

Disliked: Breakfast was good but things occasionally ran out, like juice. Location was a little far, but florence isn't that big so not a huge deal. Some street noise.

Disliked: it lacks maybe a kitchen but we can eat there without problem
