Liked: FREE DINNER sold this place to us lovely helpful staff, not too secure but lukily no stealing!!! really great hostel noy too far from centre would stay there again! and loved the dog!

Liked: friendly staff, although management has apparently just changed. good breakfast: bread, jam, nutella, milk, coffee, hard-boiled egg, their own special red wine! no bacon. free good Italian pasta dinner like 2 times a week (we had it Friday and someone said there was free dinner a couple of nights before that, but I don't know if it's actually on set days or not). 1 computer with internet. rooms are next to noisy street, so earplugs are helpful! about 20mins to historic center of Florence, so location is not great. in any case, a good and pleasant stay.

Liked: It was not the most convenient location for a hostel because in order to get into the city center you had to take a bus, or walk about 25 min. There was not much around it, either, so you couldn't really hang around the area. But the hostel itself felt very home-like, and the facilities were very adequate, with breakfast every day and dinner (except Sunday) included

Liked: The staff at dany house were very nice and helpful. However, during our stay the bathroom in our room flooded and started backing up and it took them a couple days to do anything about it... Hot water was also a rare commodity. However, the dinners and wine were still good and i would still reccomend this hostel.

Liked: This hostel provided accommodation at bargain prices and the staff were helpful. A few of them might, however, learn to treat customers like customers. Please bear in mind that there is no free lunch. They charge 3 Euros for luggage storage. It would be a pitfall, is not listed online, and unusual for hostel services, either. This hostel is on the outskirt of city centre (20 mins by walk), so the best way to store luggage would be leaving it at the train station. 5 Euros for 5 hours. It seems 0.6 Euro per hour hereafter. I may suggest a refurbishment of the bathroom and supplies of hygienic items, say handwash, and computers. By the way, the heavy traffic and noise annoyed the rooms next to the main road. Smokers (the staff and customers) were not strictly restricted to smoke outside only. Good for smokers, but offensive to non-smokers.

Liked: Even though it was quite cheap (8 euro per person) the stay was very nice. Free breakfast was okay, nothing much, but still gladly consumed. Didnt partake in the free dinners, since it was too late for me and my girlfriend, but from the other guests I heard it was very good. Everybody was very helpfull, and went above and beyond what was necessary. The bathroom was small, but clean and always had hot water. Heartly recommended.

Liked: I think it's the best hostel I've been to so far - very fun staff, good environment, good places to meet people, and you can't always have all that for that price!!! I definitely recommend this place for people going to Firenze. And if I go to Firenze again I'll definitely go there again.

Liked: The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly, going way out of their way to accommodate everyone. You really do get a cooked breakfast and dinner (with wine!), sat around the kitchen table... its got to be one of the friendliest hostels i've ever stayed in.

Liked: Overall this was one of the best hostels we'e stayed at (which is alot). The staff make this hostel. They are the best thing since sliced bread. Seriously. STY AT THIS HOSTEL. You wont regret it. Just look out for Salih!! hes a charecter!!

Liked: A small hostel with a friendly crowd and super-friendly staff. They cook dinner AND breakfast for you! For the rates it offer it is definitely worth every penny. Note that it does not have a locker but the staff is around all the time so it seems secure enough.

Liked: The staff was fun and they made us feel very welcomed and at home. Everyone seemed to get along so well even in a 9 bed dorm. Recommended for people who want to party and meet young travellers from all around the world.

Liked: They made us feel part of the family with the breakfast and dinners. Accommodation is a little tight, but you get over it, and you meet some great people along the way. The staff is incredibly friendly.
