Liked: Seriously it wasn't a super busy party hostel with tons of extras, it was much better than that. All the staff were always so enrgetic and helpful and made an extra effort to get all the hostellers to mingle, with free wine occasionally. Anyways very worth it and I am glad I chose dany house.

Liked: i would say all of u have to stay in this hostel,,this is 1 of the great hostel i´ve ever came.. i think they open this place not looking for money,,but for fun,,since this place is so cheap..they gave us jugs of wine,,n cakes too..loln i was lucky,,i heard federico piano concert..it was so worth it..

Liked: First of all I must say that all the good reviews are absolutely true! I had a lot of fun there and a lot of (free) wine too! . Location is not that bad, I walked to Dany's house from the train station (15-20 min) and then to all the touristic spots. Federico and Dany are awesome! Unfortunately I could only stay one night, free dinner was the day that I checked out but I was invited anyways (too bad I couldn't make it). I guess the only bad thing is that when you leave you'll feel like you actually owe them money because what you get is way more than what you pay for. I totally reccommend this place I'd definitely come back... any time!

Liked: The place was great. A small hostel ran by a really nice lady. The only problem I had was the lack of acconditioning and its quite noicy in the morning as its next to a buzy road so not sooo good for sleeping.. but if you like getting up early than the place is great... good value for money.. about a 15-20min walk to the centre and to the trainstation but a nice walk...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and the free breakfast was great. They also gave out free snacks at night time which was very nice. And they have a black lab puppy that is lots of fun, all in all this small hostel has a great atomosphere

Liked: This is BY FAR the best hostel I have ever been to! Amazing value for money, fantastic atmosphere, they make you feel like you are staying at a friend's house! You are guaranteed to meet people and everyone goes out together at night, but since everyone goes out (and are quiet when they come in) it's not loud if you want to sleep early. All the staff are so friendly, and they make you eggs in the morning when you wake up and there is free or very cheap dinner (which is also DELICIOUS) and there's always wine around to drink! I would go to Florence just to stay here. I give the highest possible recommendation.

Liked: Its a little far from the center but easily walkable; bus stops right in front (#25) - look for the sign on the wall, its not easily visible. If you are there on a night when they make you dinner and you have a good crowd you will have an awesome time. Mirella is very friendly, so is Frederico. Villa Bolognese can be quite loud though, and some locker would be good. Anyway I had a great experience.

Liked: the staff were really nice, but the rooms were quite small and beside a main road which was really quite noisy at nite and the beds were quite shaky! free dinner was quite nice though

Liked: Far and away the best hostel I've ever stayed in. In fact, far better than most hotels. I think you'd be insane not to stay here when in Florence. Great, friendly staff and totally uncalled for free services that you just don't expect to have at a hostel. Fantastic !!!!!

Liked: This was by far the best 'hostel' (it's too good to even be called that) I have ever stayed at. Federico and the staff were incredibly kind, accommodating and friendly. They have thought of everything - anything you need at your fingertips is both within the hostel and for your stay in Florence. The location is ideal - walking distance from everything. Extremely safe, they make you feel right at home! excellent relationship between price and supply. recommended!

Liked: This hostel was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and I met alot of people, which is good when you're a solo traveller. Dany House was very informative and it was secure, you had to be buzzed in. The food was great too

Liked: Location and security were not as good as I rated, but otherwise the hostel was awesome enough to compensate! We were all one big family there, excellent atmosphere. When I left I thought I had more pleasant stay there than in a 5-star hotel once.

Liked: The atmosphere of this hostel is amazing. It is very clean, efficient, and a great place to meet fellow travelers. Upon arrival, I entered a room that felt much more like some ones home than a hostel. I was greeted by piano, red wine, and all my fellow travelers sitting around, getting to know one another and eating and drinking together.
