Liked: Sorry I did not like this place. The lady is nice and they give some free wine at night, which is good but in my experience not enough to make it up for the rest.

Liked: It was a pleasant stay at this hostel, but check-in is only possible after 1pm. Nevertheless you can leave your luggage there if you arrive early in the morning. It takes you 30 mins by foot to reach the Duomo. We would recommend this hostel.

Liked: LOVED staying at DanyHouse. The staff were really cool. They also make free breakfast (egg, toast and coffee) and delicious free dinners with an endless supply of wine every other night. Dinner time was a good time to meet the many other young travelers staying in the hostel and share stories and travel tips. I would definitely recommend this hostel to young backpackers.TANKS FEDERICO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liked: Staff super nice and friendly. Really wanted to help out. Kept refilling free wine and cake at night. Tiny hostel tho, paid for a 6 bed and actually had a 12 bed.. all with only one bathroom! Shower was super tiny, and i'm a tiny girl! About a 10 minute walk to the main area of florence. Had some socializing, but common area is just a small room. good stay for the most part tho.

Liked: Its small and clean but its mostly for older travelers who are not interested in meeting people. You have to share one bathroom and it gets somewhat annoying. Its a suppose to be a B&B but its a continental breakfast with hardboiled eggs. It is whatevs, the beds are horrible and the shower is sooooo small. I don't really recommend this for young travelers it is not appealing at all. I ended up moving to another one after a couple nights.

Liked: Amazing place go there! Though the rooms are beside a busy road so hard to sleepish though the wine they gave us helped with that!

Liked: Loved Dany house, had such a lovely atmosphere, first night we arrived we only had stale bread left so they cooked us a meal instead and my glass was constantly being topped up with free home-made wine. The owners- Frederico and Maria are really kind and helpful and make you feel so welcome, and Frederico is amazing on the piano, would defiantly recommend the hostel to everyone

Liked: This is an awesome hostel. They cooked a free dinner with wine, they have a big LCD TV attached to an xbox 360, free computer access etc. The place is super clean and decorated nicely. Frederico plays stylish piano. Daniella even went out and got a cake for my wifes birthday. They also gave her champagne. It felt like home. Thanks so much!

Liked: Go to Dany House!!! It's rally good adress to enjoy your trip in Firenze... The atmosphere is simply and really cool, especially when the manager decide to do the dinner for all!! My best memory during my week of "bed and breakfest" in Italy! Thank you again for all!! Grazzie mille! :)

Liked: One of the most memorable places I've stayed, more of a B&B than most hostels. Extremely warm and kind hosts, who plied me with excellent home made wine for free and serenaded me on the piano! Nice walk into town or to train station, if I come back to Florence I will stay here.

Liked: This is a brilliant place to stay, so welcoming and homely, the beds leave a bit to be desired, kind of like a giant hammock but still sleepable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any one.

Liked: The owners- Frederico and Maria are super friendly and helpful. It has a certain family atmosphere about the place, especially when we all sat at the table for breakfast in the morning. It's a brilliant place to meet people and excellent value for money. Do take some mosquitoes repellent if you go there in summer months, they are lethal!!

Liked: My friend and I travelled for a month and stayed in a number of different hostels, but Danny House was by far the best hostel that we stayed in. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful if they tried. We enjoyed free supper and free internet and the location was also very good. I would strongly recommend Danny House to any travellers!!!

Liked: This place was so nice we meet so friendly people and the sevice was perfect. We stay two night and for a really good price. The landlord was so nice with us and prepare a dinner for our welcome night. I will remeber Florence for sure

Liked: this was one of the best hostels i have stayed at in the past 2.5 months!!!! the people who run it are the most warm hospitible hosts ever! and very helpful, the beds and fqcilities are basic but comfortable, it is walking distance fro, everywhere
