Liked: Snall hostel with great atmosphere, felt like home straight away. Free wine and crisps at 9pm are a good mixer, free wifi, location is alright for Florence. Jonathan and Clifford are great!

Disliked: Shower temperature could be warmer

Liked: As soon as we checked in, Jonathan sat down with us and went through the map of Florence suggesting things that we should do. He also recommened good restaurants and really wanted to make sure that we had a nice stay. They also gave us free breakfast and wine!

Disliked: The only downside was that there was only one bathroom for 10 people.

Liked: The atmosphere is fantastic! Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel at home, they offer wine at night and breakfast in the morning and they're so helpful with anything you need. I absolutely loved it!

Disliked: It's a bit far from the touristic attractions, walking distance but about 10-20 minute walk from most places. I also would have liked a kitchen to be able to cook my own food but it wasn't so bad considering eating out is not very expensive in Florence and they're so friendly it makes up for it.

Liked: This place is the best place ive stayed at in 3 months of backpacking Europe, from 11euro to 40+ euro a night hostels none of them come close. The atmosphere was awesome, lots of really cool people, very sociable. Hosts Jonathan and clifford are great fun, free wine and chips in the evening, free breakfast, internet etc... its small, has lots of character unlike big hostels with hundreds of guests. and not people sitting on laptops being silent in the common rooms, everyone here is talking and drinking and making friends. you will not regret staying here - just make sure you don't book your accomodation after because you will want to stay longer ciao :)

Liked: Jonathan is a great host, who makes you feel welcome from start to finish. The place has a great atmosphere, plus you get an amazing discount at a very good pizzeria just 5 Minutes away.

Disliked: Beds are a bit soft. Everything else is cool thou.

Liked: such a great atmosphere, everyone integrated well in the hostel, socialising together n the evenings, rooms were clean and common room was great. two bed room looked great even tho wasnt in it. hot water and decent showers. nice area too.

Disliked: beds were a little shaky and some bed bugs about the place

Liked: Such a great and friendly atmosphere! it really feels like a home here. Very clean, very affordable, and a very attentive staff. I will definitely come back here and i would recommend it to anyone traveling through Florence looking for a Hostel.

Liked: Jonathan and Clifford were so friendly, and I met so many great people there. I would reccommend it to anyone, especially solo travelers. The only suggestion I could make would be storage lockers, but even without, I felt like my belongings were safe, because someone would always poke their head out to say hi every time I came in the door!

Disliked: Not a whole lot!

Liked: Lovely little hostel, Jonathan was great and incredibly welcoming. His friend sat down with us with a map of Florence to tell us what we should visit during our brief stay in Florence and gave us loads of great tips including a fabulous restaurant recommendation. There was a great atmosphere in the hostel and it was very clean and wonderfully laid out.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Dany is SUPER nice and was the most hospitable person we came across on our trip. Liked the free wine he provided each evening.

Disliked: It was really hot in the hostel at night. And if the window is open there is alot of car traffic noise in the mornings. Small place. Too many people sharing one bathroom.

Liked: Everyone there ar so nice ! We had a great time and the staff is really helpfull. Its a small place so we have the chance to know everyone

Liked: everything, family atmosphere, beyond words, free breakfast charming people and all around great time

Disliked: Nothing to dislike, just having to leave though we had to come back due to strike. Dany house treats you like one of your own

Liked: The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. On arrival they offer local wine, juice or water and chips!

Disliked: No airconditioning so we had to have the window open over a very loud street with traffic. Other guests were disrespectful being loud in the common room, I had to ask them to keep the noise down at midnight. Beds are very squeeky and you can feel every movement the other person is making. If you are in Florence to sleep unfortunately this is not the place for you. This being said I still enjoyed my stay as the staff were so wonderful!

Liked: The staff is great and they really make you feel welcome!! When you get there you will feel like you're arriving at a friend's place!! Everything is very clean, great wifi, bathroom is good. The place has 14 bed total and is very good to meet everyone at the 20:30 meeting for some free wine and chips before going out.

Disliked: The only thing I could say that I dislike is that they do not have any facilities to cook, but they have a microwave and a refrigerator and provide plates and silverware!

Liked: The hospitality of the owners and their attention to each guest. The intimate size of the hostel made it feel very homey.

Disliked: No AC, only one toilet/shower.

Liked: The staffs was very kind and friendly!! It's really like a house! I had fun with the other travelers in the common room.

Disliked: The only problem is that there's not enough shower room (toilette).

Liked: VERY nice owners...Jonathan and his girlfriend. Showed me a map of Florence with all the areas marked out, where the cheapest places were, good food recommendations, where the leather/gold markets were (perfect as I knew nothing before coming!). Gave us free local wine from an uncle's vineyard to drink at night, along with food and snacks, and breakfast in the morning. Great hangout area for people to sit and chat, wonderful music playing (Muse!!). Nightly outdoor music event going on very nearby. Safe entrance, they gave us a key to the building and the apartment, and there was always someone there. Let me check out really late in the afternoon, after visiting the city for the day and leaving my luggage there to wait. Will DEFINITELY stay there again, and recommend it to others!

Disliked: Bed a bit uncomfortable, the frame shook and made noise whenever I moved. Hot and only fans cooling the place, nowhere to do dishes. But still didn't take away from the awesomeness of the hostel! Still so worth it!

Liked: Jonathan, Ella and Morgan make for a very welcoming stay. the directions they provide to get to the hostel are very easy to follow, you are welcomed with a drink, nibbles and enthusiasm. It's very close to the city centre and they show you the best places to go in the city. Though small it is very social.

Disliked: Nothing much, perhaps more kitchen facilities although there is a fridge and a microwave.

Liked: Jonathan & Ella were so friendly and helpful. It was great for solo travellers as Jonathan offers some free wine & nibbles in the evening to promote a friendly atmosphere & it works!
