Liked: Dany House was a little second floor place about a 15 min walk from the Duomo. The family who runs it are the nicest people and not only provide free breakfast but Fredrico also puts together some dinner and wine every night! They are very helpful when you first get there with a map and circling all of the big places to see. They really actually care about your stay. if there is a problem they will fix it, it is fun to cook in the kitchen for dinner and overall it is just a really cute little place very different from other larger not very friendly hostels. I would recommend this hostel if you are traveling in a medium sized group of 6 or so because it is a little bit of a walk but I would say totally worth it because of the people that run it.

Liked: I had the greatest time ever staying here!! They were the friendliest people i have ever met and had the greatest time of my life there!!! small, cosy and perfect!! Would definitely recommend it!! Spent halloween there and met a whole lot of travellers, we got all dressed up!! awesome awesome awesome time! Dany House rocks!!

Liked: We found this place because it was very cheap. It's about 15 minutes walk from the Duomo, but for the price it's worth it. The price includes breakfast, and often (although it's not advertized) they bring out pizza and sandwiches around dinnertime. In fact, they did this every day we were here except Sunday. Beds and bathrooms are nice, but what really makes this place special are the owners. They are here every day, and they make you feel like family. Simply put, they go out of their way to make you feel at home. It's been a wonderful stay for us and I will definitely stay here if I ever end up in Florence again.

Liked: Really good option to consider... or honestly speaking - there is nothing to consider, just go there, stay a couple of nights and that's it - you'll get really good value for virtually no money :) Very friendly and helpful staff - fun to talk to and really, really nice 'welcome basket' - it makes you feel very comfortable. Find out yourself if you're looking for good dorms for no price :)

Liked: Staff were very very nice and friendly, helped us with anything we needed. Only bad thing was there was only one bathroom for at least 12 people. Lots of smoking inside the hostel.

Liked: Hi, sorry for my english...Dany House is beautiful!!! I know a lot of friends..the staff is magic, they offer us pizza, sandwiches, and tuscany red wine, in the evening music by piano and play station...it's the "PARADISE"....best regards, I come back as possible.

Liked: I absolutely loved staying at Dany House. It's a bit of a walk from the city center but totally worth it. The staff are wonderful, they honestly felt like family and were so friendly and helpful. The hostel was very clean, there's free internet, free breakfast and coffee in the morning (it was toast with jam or nutella and hard boiled eggs for us), and free wine and dessert at night! It's a small hostel and has a very cozy atmosphere; it's full of young travellers, and we made a ton of friends in our dorm. We were so sad to leave! I would definitely stay at Dany House again and would recommend it to anyone going to Florence.

Liked: We had so much fun at Dany house! We met a lot of young travelers and the staff was awesome! We loved our Dany mom and the free wine and sweets were awesome! I would definitely stay here again and I was sad to leave!

Liked: LOVED Dany House, I didn't want to leave! This was my 2nd stay. Can't rate this hostel high enough, you won't be disappointed if you stay. Wi-fi, kitchen, clean, breakfast, common room, all you could want! And you can walk to most tourist spots too. Bus right out the front otherwise. Miss you Mirella, Carlo, Frederico and Daniella, thank you for great memories xx

Liked: Warm and very welcome. LIke being invited in some bodies home. If fact that what it was. Great experiance if you like the personal feel. Only down side is one bathroom/loo. But then its small hostel so I only had to wait once. Aside from that it was great. Oh by the way I did not see the puppy but there was another old dog staying there. Enjoy your stay!

Liked: I liked everything about Dany House! people there were great, very helpful with local information, not too far from most tourist attractions, can walk around not a problem, It's not in the centre of town, but still ok to find your way around, clean, and have everything on offer. Lovely homely feeling. Working internet, kitchen, small balcony, breakfast, facilities were great! My bed was a little too soft, but hey, cant have everything! I plan on staying again.

Liked: The owners were so very helpful and welcoming, and my bed was clean and comfortable! The location was close enough to everything, maybe 7 minutes walk. A clean and spacious WC, and breakfast included. I recommend this hostel above any other on my 5-week cross-Europe adventure.
