Liked: I loved everything about this hostel. Definitely the best hostel I have stayed at during my 5 week backpacking trip. The breakfast and snack were great. The people at the hostel were friendly and the staff even took us out for the night. It was so much fun and i really would like to go back sometime soon.

Disliked: The only bad thing was the Duomo bells at 7 in the morning, but that comes with the great location. After the first morning, you do not even realize them anymore.

Liked: This hostel was really clean, the breakfast and pasta each night were great. It is in an amazing location within walking distance to the train station and all sights. We met fantastic people and had an amazing stay. Would recommend Academy to anyone!

Liked: Awesome hostel. Particularly loved the free happy hour with pasta and wine, the sangria is very good. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to make you welcome. Good layout of rooms for privacy.

Liked: This is a v well-run hostel. The staff is incredibly nice (brought a phone charger from home as I lost mine!). Location is absolutely perfect: 20 meters from the dome and 100 meters or so from the Accademia.

Liked: We loved our stay. It was simply superb. Staff were amazing great attention to things like my wife glutten free ( they went out and purchased cornflakes and Rice Cakes for her) It is superbly located ...only 50 metres from the cathedral, It was the cleanest place we have stayed in the owner and staff DO A MAGNIFICENT JOB. Room was comfortable and ensuite tiolet excellent. Will be coming back. Florence one of the great cities in the World

Liked: By far the best hostel I have stayed at. Wonderful staff, great people, and they have an excellent breakfast, and appetizers and wine in the evening. I could not say enough good things about it, definitely a good place for travelers to go!

Liked: This was the best hostel I stayed at in Europe. I wish there was a higher category than good for the ratings, because my stay was excellect. It was super friendly--they had a meet and greet period each night for guests to meet other guests. The staff was wonderfully helpful; they told us good things to do and good places to eat. The facilities were gorgeous, and the location cannot be beat--it is right between the Accademia and the Duomo. I loved it here.

Liked: This is so far the best hostels I have ever stayed. Just I wished the clean up time is reduced, since this is so hot summer, it's nice to be back and rest a bit before continue wandering the city after lunch.

Liked: An amazing hostel with incredibly friendly people. Great place for people who like hanging around fun people albeit mostly American crowd. It feels a lot like walking into a college dorm complete with drama and action

Liked: I thought this was one of my favorite hostels. I liked that they got everyone out of their rooms with the appetizers at night. I was kind of upset because I tried to get on the internet late at night, but it was always "not working" until...7 am when breakfast was served. I bet that was a coincidence...It wouldn't be a big deal except when I am trying to contact home for some help, and I can't do it. The staff was for the most part ok. The guy working at night is incompetent. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Liked: Loved it! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the daily appetizers really do enable you to meet everyone at the hostel. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in!

Liked: The room was colorful and clean. It also had this nice lemony scent unlike a couple of other hostels we stayed at. I'm not sure if this is fun place to meet people because we had the whole room to ourselves since we had enough people in our group. Also, we didn't stay the hostel that much - left early and came back late.

Liked: This was by far the best hostel I've stayed in on this trip (i've stayed in 3 others). The location was ideal. the staff was very helpful. I met tons of great people here too. The showers, rooms, beds, lockers, linens and provided night lamps all contributed to making my stay here great. I would definately stay here again.
