Really different from a usual hostel and designed for those those do not like crowded places or accommodations like barracks. This smart hostel is at the most central location in Florence, beside the Duomo, on the 1st floor of the 17th Century palace that was the true residence of Ricasoli family.

From the central station of Santa Maria Novella, you can take a brief and pleasant stroll of 12 minutes. Go towards the cathedral, il Duomo. The street is called Via Panzani and, after a short distance, the street will change name to Via de’Cerretani (continue to walk straight).
After a couple of minutes walking from the station you will see the cathedral on your right. After another 200 meters you will find the street Via Ricasoli on your left - there, at number 9, you will find us.
If your backpack is too heavy or your spirits are low then you can take the bus number 14 or 23 from the square outside the railway station of Santa Maria Novella (both lines run every 5 minutes from 6am to 12am). If you prefer a taxi, you will find cabs stationed outside the railway station.
From Florence Airport:
There is a bus every half hour that leaves from Florence airport to Florence station. They start at 6am and the last one is at 11.30pm.
Taxis are stationed in front of the arrivals terminal or can be called by radio taxi (Phone +39.055.4242/4390/4499/47 98). A taxi journey time from the airport to Florence city centre is about 15-20 minutes. Journey cost is calculated by the taximeter (average cost is 20/25 Euro).
