Really different from a usual hostel and designed for those those do not like crowded places or accommodations like barracks. This smart hostel is at the most central location in Florence, beside the Duomo, on the 1st floor of the 17th Century palace that was the true residence of Ricasoli family.

In the heart of Florence, 30 seconds from the Duomo, you'll find a real hostel, not one of those readapted apartments that call themselves 'hostels'. Here all things are considered, it's also the cheapest because our prices include everything and there are no surprises, as could happen to have to pay extra on breakfast, internet, linen, towels and 'taxes'. The reviews from our guests say everything so we don't have much more to talk about. The only rules we have arfe: to leave the hostel empty from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. so we can clean; we also ask to not make any noise after 11 p.m. so we can let our guests relax in peace.
We are located on Via Ricasoli, the street that leads from the Duomo to the Museum dell' Accademia (the Academy Gallery, where the original statue of Michelangelo's David is displayed). From here it is possible to reach many interesting parts of Florence with a short walk.

Cheap accommodation in Florence should not compromise on comfort: the city is a busy and hectic place, so it's important for us at Academy Hostels to do as much as possible to ensure our guests can get a comfortable night's sleep. You will find Academy Hostel amazingly quiet for it's location in the centre of Florence. At the same time, for those who want to enjoy the Florence nightlife, you will find restaurants, bars, clubs and the best spots in town within a few minutes' walking distance.

Accommodation Information

The Academy Hostel is a rather small place and can welcome 28/30 guests. Our well-maintained dormitory rooms, with just three to six beds and no bunks, create a familiar and friendly environment.

All rooms are air-conditioned and have lockers for your valuables. Wi-Fi connection, usage of computers in the lobby and all bed linen is provided free of charge.

Here you will find a comfortable lobby with an LCD widescreen TV for those who want a little relaxation and to meet people from all over the world.
