Liked: Excellent value for money with free wi-fi and Internet. The staff are very helpful and friendly and always happy to help if you have a problem. Bathroom time is limited to 10 minutes although there is a sink in the room so it is very reasonable. Location is excellent being just a short walk away from most attractions plus the station is only a short walk away if you fancy going further afield to Pisa or Siena. Well recommended.

Liked: The hostel was easy to find by the directions given. The rooms and bathroom were extremely clean. Internet is available for free so checking emails and future travel plans is easily accessible. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions. Advice and offers for tours etc are available - we didnt do them but there is plenty of information available. It is a sociable hostel and we stayed in the room that backed onto the main room - even though pepole stayed up late, we didnt hear a thingDefinately recommend this hostel.

Liked: Friendly staff, nice common area, included breakfast good. I liked the quiet room facing the courtyard.Minor point: Hostelbookers site says towelse are included but I needed to pay to rent one.

Liked: We were directed to overflow quarters near the hostel and directions were easily followed. Staff were quite helpful even for our late arrival. Great place and would recommend it.

Liked: Great place, I made a lot of friends. The lock-out seems to be pretty common in Florence, but their compensatory breakfast helped a lot. Also, as seems typical for Florence, you have to use the simple uploader for FB, and you can't watch certain media on the computers, and they won't upgrade their programs. Again, this is typical around here, and if you brought your own laptop you're okay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the place clean with a nice decor, and I enjoyed my time there. I would stay there again.

Liked: I really enjoyed staying in the hostel. The room was clean and the staff made any effort to make my staying nice and easy offering also some additional services not included in the offer such as free Internet. Plenty of young people and always helpful staff made the atmosphere warm and friendly.I strongly recommend that hostel.

Liked: The location is excellent, only a 5 or 6 minute walk through a bustling outdoor market to the Duomo! Breakfast was delicious, and the guy even cooked up breakfast sandwiches and eggs. I stayed at the Dany House Hostel (also in Florence) for 3 nights after staying here, but really wish I had stayed here instead... The location is much, much better, breakfast is better, and staff is friendlier. Good laundry place 10m to the north, and if you're tired of pizza, theres a really good and cheap chinese takeout place on the corner another 10m.

Liked: I think that this is the best hostel i stayed in Italy! really clean, helpful staff, free internet & wi-fi in your room, free breakfest and central location - all this made my stay really in Florence perfect!

Liked: There is free breakfast. Plus, our room had its own computer with internet and bathroom. (Our dorm room had four beds). The only part that was hard is that they don't allow you to leave your luggage past 2, and our train didn't leave until 10pm. The Left Luggage office at the train station is really expensive, too. We ended up having to change our tickets and leave during the day. Other than that, this hostel has everything, and it's spotless.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful!! Clean enough and the hostel is not too big which made it feel more comfortable. Theres no kitchen or common room so its hard to get to meet other travellers but they offer breakfast for free which was really nice and then I got to talk to alot of people from different rooms as well. Location was good, easy to find and close to the station and also very close to the big market. I can definitely recommend this place.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at The Florence Youth Hostel. We only booked one night and ended up staying four. It was clean, comfortable, friendly and the free breakfast was delicious. Thanks!
