Liked: The staff is very helpful, and the room is spacious and clean.

Disliked: There is only 2 electrical socket in my room , so sometimes you have to go outside the room and find it.

Liked: I liked its accessibility from the center of the town. You can reach Palazzo Diamante, Piazza Ariostea, Corso Ercole I d'Este etc. easily by foot. The staffs were all kind and helpful.

Disliked: I know it's normal for Italian houses, but to be honest, I felt it unconfortable that there was no air conditioner (we had only an electric fan in the room). This is because our dorm was just under the roof and it was quite hot from early morning to night.

Liked: Good location, only about 5-10 mins walk into the centre of town. Clean rooms and bathrooms, relatively secure (need to bring your own padlocks or rent them)

Disliked: Not a great breakfast - on my last day, 2 friends were staying another night were told they would have to change rooms, they had to leave their luggage (including laptops, money etc) in a luggage room but it a member of staff was not present all the time keeping an eye on things. Nowhere secure to leave things

Liked: Staff, rooms, cleanliness, location

Disliked: It would be a very good place to sleep (nice staff, cleanliness, big and nice room, great location) if it were a kitchen. Lack of kitchen disqualifies this place.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. The hostel's location was excellent and very close to the centre of Ferarra, and only a 15 minute walk from the train station. I was originally booked in for one night but ended up staying three as the hostel was very easy to relax in. Spacious dorms with comfortable beds and very big lockers. Lots of leaflets for local activities as well as bike rental for only five Euro a day.

Disliked: Sadly no kitchen, although there is a fridge and microwave guests can use. No real common area to meet other travellers other than around the computers in the lobby. Other than that, nothing at all - it's a lovely place.

Disliked: we did not have luck with the location of our room, was a bit noisy (next to the main corridor and windows to the main street), although the room itself was perfect

Liked: Spotless rooms, bathrooms and common areas, free wifi, great location within the city and comfy, non-squeaky beds - the first of their kind I encountered in Italian hostels.

Disliked: This is the sort of place that Italian school classes and middle-aged couples go when they go on biking/hiking tours, not for independent travelers. The atmosphere could best be likened to a hospital, the breakfast was a joke (even by Southern European standards), none of the staff OR any of the other guests spoke English, let alone any other language than Italian, and I was downright ignored every single time I tried to ask something (except for when I arrived and paid). Quite a shame, because Ferrara is a beautiful town and this is hands own the cleanest and most spacious hostel I have ever been to.

Liked: it was located right in the city within easy walking distance from all attractions. The rooms were also very clean and there was free internet.

Liked: It was close to the city center

Disliked: The staff didn't speak any other languages than Italian (other than enough to take your money). I asked if they spoke English, German, or Spanish and the person couldn't give me directions to the hostel. The directions to the hostel aren't very good and the rooms weren't very nice.

Liked: Charming place, nice rooms and a lot of space!!! Desktop Computers to use Internet and great coffee at the hostel bar!!!!! In addition, it is very close to the city centre and not to far to the station. You are in walking distance to everything important in Ferrara!!!

Disliked: There was nothing really annoying or unpleasant.

Liked: Location is perfect. It's very clean and organized. Staff is lovely and helpful. Rooms are excellent. Breakfast is great!

Disliked: That not all hostels I've stayed were that great.

Liked: Clean, centrally located, very good price.

Disliked: Everything about my stay was great, except for the instructions on how to get there. Basically, you go left out of the train stn, keep going til you hit a big roundabout. About 3/4 of the way around the roundabout you'll find a sign for Via Porta Po. Follow Via Porta Po for about 5-10 minutes. It turns into Rosetti, and soon thereafter you'll find the hostel on the left side of the street. Worth the walk.

Liked: It was close to the main sights. Internet was free.

Disliked: The worst place to meet people. There is no common room at all. No kitchen. This place has absolutely no atmosphere. Ferrara is really a day trip. If you have to only stay one night. I was so bored.

Liked: Gentleman on the front desk at check in was very friendly and helpful, providing suggestions for dinner. Location was very convenient. Walk from train station as less than a half hour. Hostel is very near the wonderful center of town and the bus stop was just outside the door. Room was clean and quiet. Access to computer for free was a wonderful extra.

Disliked: There is nothing I could say that was bad about the place. The website was honest and the price was very good.

Liked: Stay here, it's cheap and in a different league to most hostels, could be used as a base for exploring Venice.
