Liked: Excellent value for many! It is quite, safe and secure place 12 km placed from the slopes of Cortina d'Ampezzo (41 EUR ski pass), but only few km from the other small, not fancy, but also very good ski slopes (6 ski lifts) of San Vito di Cadore (28 EUR ski pass). It is not a place for fancy guests, but for the real skiers (ecologists, hikers, bikers in summertime) that are looking for modest comfortable accommodation, with the kitchen in the apartment including all the needed tolls/equipment from the kitchen (refrigerator, oven, plates, spoons, openers for wine, etc…).The bus is coming on time in front of the Hotel to transport the guests (free of charge for the hotel guests) straight to the both slopes, so you do not need to move your car from the hotel looking for the parking place on the slopes. From both Cortina d'Ampezzo and San Vito di Cadore, you can catch the bus for the return. The staff is very friendly and helpful (replying on time by mail if you have any questions for clarifications before your arrival, assisting in arrangement of the visits in the region), but in principle there is no much communication with staff as it is renting on the basis if 7 days where you need them only on the first and last day. It is not place for fun - to meet people, but this depends on you: if you are coming with the bigger group there you can find place in the hotel lobbies to arrange social events. We recommend you to arrange visit around the Alps (We visited in two days Innsbruck (Austria), Vaduz (Liechtenstein), Zurich (Switzerland), with overnight Lugano (Switzerland), Verona (Italy)). Madonna di Campiglio is also good recommendation to visit. That is only 2 hours far from the Hotel. In principle we will most probably visit again this place.
