Liked: We stayed at Podere San Domenico for three nights. The host Andrea is very friendly - he cooked dinner for us each evening, and is full of stories. He made the kitchen fully available to us, and we actually cooked together one evening. The house is in a very beautiful area; the drive there is fantastic and there are plenty of old sights to see within half an hour. Andrea can give you advice on what to visit if you choose to make a day trip (he sent us to a gorgeous beach called Cala Violina). The room was clean and rustic (we stayed in the bedroom -- Il Pavone). There is a tennis table available, two telescopes to watch the stars. And, of course, the furry dog Pelu and the cats and kittens are an ever entertaining (and purring) presence.

Disliked: There was nothing we disliked about this place - rustic is the word for it and if you expect a place with a spa or a swimming pool then you might not like it.
