Liked: Clean and secure. Perfectly decent stay for the money.
Disliked: Transportation to and from Biassa is difficult. Best option is to just pay for the hostel's shuttle, because the extra euros are worth not having to figure out the buses.

Liked: Very clean, decent rooms. I think i went during low season, but hostel seemed very quiet! While taking the bus, and booking the shuttle worked out fine if you want to spend a whole day in the towns, i think i would prefer to stay in one of the actual towns next time it would just be more convenient!
Disliked: while the location was cool, and you got to see another town, would prefer to stay in acutal cinque terre next time.

Liked: out door area and free parking. Nice little town
Disliked: The bathrooms are not acceptable. Two of the showers are together in a small area (for both men and women) with no place to hang your clothes or towel and no privacy at all. When I complained to the owner he said that people broke the hooks he installed - okay, maybe they could be reinstalled or installed properly or better quality that won't break??? Another stall had a commode, sink and shower. The shower was full of mold and the door would not lock - the owner told me I didn't know how to use it - until I showed him it didn't work. It was not fixed when we left. The final bath, commode and sink, had burned out lights. Again, not fixed before we left (and the owner again was "shocked" that they could possibly be out! Breakfast was minimal. Awful coffee. Nice room with good view was the only good thing about the "breakfast." The location really limits your flexibility. The hostel offers a shuttle and there is some bus service but combine that with the train schedule for Cinque Terre and it makes it very difficult to plan unless you've been there previously and know how it all works together. Plus the bus only runs until the early evening and the latest shuttle is 9:30 so forget any late evenings in town.

Liked: i liked that we had our own room key and that they had a computer with free internet, you don't see that everywere. the hostel is located in a nice village on a mountain. we used it as a starting point for hiking into cinque terre and it served its purpose perfectly.
Disliked: not too pleased with cleanliness of showers

Liked: Location is inconvenient in terms of accessibility (a bit hard to get to and there's really nothing around once you're there), though I enjoyed it as a chance to experience a smaller Italian village in the mountains (and the view is GORGEOUS). Breakfast for 2 euro was ok, not delicious but you can eat as much as you want and there's lots of coffee. Rooms were pretty clean
Disliked: As a single traveler, hated the atmosphere - kind of a big place and people mostly kept quiet in their rooms; staff were ok but a bit brusque. Need more washrooms and especially showers - there was usually a lineup in the mornings. Also wish the hostel itself had food services at night, there's only 1 restaurant nearby and it's not great. Nice and quiet for the most part, except for an ANNOYING church bell that rings really loudly every hour from 7am to 11 pm. My least favourite hostel I stayed at in Italy

Liked: Beautiful location and the staff are really helpful.
Disliked: The bus schedule to get back to the hostel! Although its not the hostel's fault! The bus scheudle forces you to go back to the hostel early...unless you catch a taxi...

Liked: It was not nearby anything but it was a nice break from cities. The view was amazing and it was close to Cinque Terre. We had a nice time sitting on the terrace hangingout with the other guests.
Disliked: If it was late there wasn't anything to do aside from sitting out on the terrace or watching tv. No restaurants or bars.

Liked: Many people complain about the location, but with a little planning for the bus to get there and a little foresight to book the shuttle(s) you might need the night before, it is just fine. It was nice to be in a village that was so quiet and separated from the tourists of the 5 villages. Plus the restaurant in Biassa was yummy!
Disliked: no problems

Liked: The room was fine. The man at reception was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is 2€ and is pretty basic, but you can eat as much as you want and there´s coffee and tea so that´s good. There were big lockers in the rooms so you can lock all of your things which is nice.
Disliked: It was kind of difficult to get to as the buses only run every hour if that. Once you get there the first time they will explain how to go to Cinque Terre and back and then it´s not so bad. You have to pay for Wifi.

Liked: Ostello Tramonti is located in Biassi which is as close as you can get to Cinque Terre without being actually in it. There is a convenient bus from La Spezia and they drop you off in Cinque Terre and pick you up each day. A very convenient hostel overall.
Disliked: The showers and toilets were not very clean and the staff were quite gruff- but if pushed were helpful when really necessary.

Liked: cleanliness
Disliked: considering there is only one restaurant in the little village where the hostel is located, the absence of a kitchen or even communal fridge was really bad! there is also only 1 little mini market which was quite expensive. granted, this isnt the fault of the hostel but again, there should be at least a fridge for outside food if not a kitchen

Liked: Staff were friendly and excellent. Facilities were clean and adequate. Toilets were also clean and sufficient. Breakfast was probably one of the best I've had among the many hostels I've stayed in (value for money, don't expect a superb restaurant standard breakfast). Despite its far location, thankfully the hostel provided a shuttle service to the Easternmost town, Riomaggiore.
Disliked: Hostel was far and relatively inaccessible. You have to take a public bus #19 which comes at irregular and infrequent times.

Liked: The staff is very friendly and helped us all the time. The rooms are clean and with just 2 more euros you will be provided with breakfast. They also provide service by taking us to the main La Spezia in a bus for jus 2 euros from where we could take a train to other places.
Disliked: Toilets are not clean which created a small hesitation to have a wash but still manageable for jus few days. Distance from La Spezia is more and there wont be any public transportation after 8 in the night.

Liked: Even though it's far away from Cinque Terre, they offer a shuttle for just 2 euro there! They also provide a breakfast for just 2 euro. Biassa is also SO beautiful. It's a refreshing change from the touristy Cinque Terre locations. I loved this place.
Disliked: It was far from Cinque Terre. But they helped us get there, so it wasn't that bad.
