Liked: Absoltutely nothing. I would never recommend this place it was dirty and felt unsafe and the owner was beyond rude. Therefore stay away please. If I managed hodtelbookers I would not do business with them.

Disliked: It was dishonest in its description and over priced and the owner was rude and creepy.

Liked: Lovely rustic room with sea view - the room we stayed in appeared to be part of someone's house, but was clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Being in a room below somebody's house meant that we were kept awake by noises at night and first thing in the morning. The bathroom was outside and although good effort had been made to keep it clean and make it welcoming, it was essentially outside and therefore had spiders, bugs etc. The plugs were very old fashioned 3 pronged plugs which meant we could not use any of our electricals with our european adaptor (= dead mobile phone) and the fridge did not work.

Liked: Very cute feeling, nice atmosphere with the cinque terre. Mostly clean.

Disliked: The man who checked us in wasn't overly friendly, though the one who showed us our room was. The place had a bit of a funky smell and the stove/oven didn't work.

Liked: Good location, looking over the main street of Riomaggiore. Beds were clean, had decent kitchen utensils. They kept the bathroom clean and supplied. Had a line outside the window to dry clothes.

Disliked: The kitchen sink smelled horrible and unless you kept soap in it the smell kind of filled the room. We weren't given any information on Riomaggiore or Cinque Terre on arrival.

Liked: The fact that it was only hostel-guests in the building was pleasant, as was the easy location. Lovely lovely view from the upstairs.

Disliked: Bit run-down, stove required a lighter (not provided) and kitchen was understocked and a bit too welcoming for an invading trickle of ants, and the landlord was a bit uninterested in answering too many questions. Overall, though, it was fine.

Liked: Not too far from the train station, but we met others who were placed very far away from the town center.

Disliked: The rooms were very dirty and they appeared to have been cleaned weeks before. After other guests left, the bedding remained on the beds. The key they gave us didn't work and we were placed in two separate rooms even though we booked for two beds months ago. We woke up covered in bed bug bites and found them in our backpacks after leaving. The stove had no gas and it appeared that the owner had no intention of replacing it. We did not receive any towels (as stated on the page) and would not stay here again.

Liked: It was up a hill so it was a bit of a hike up the stairs. But the view at the top was worth it. I was lucky enough that the porter carried my pack up the stairs but when I checked with other travellers he did not do that for them.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: It has a great view and the staff who brought us to the apartment was very friendly.

Disliked: However, the location of the apartment itself was not close to the city centre at all. We had to walk about 5-10 minutes and climbed multiple stairs to get to it.

Liked: Just a place to sleep nothing special, could of been cleaner. Met some great people and location is good :)

Disliked: No window in room, but at least had fans! Didn't change dish towel any of the three nights I was there was filthy so kinda gross to do dishes you hoped people (guys) weren't using it!

Liked: The view from the bedroom was fantastic.

Disliked: You had to climb a lot of steps to get to the room and it was a bit tricky to find.

Liked: There were two "relaxation" verandas with good views of the city and the sea.

Disliked: The room, described as a "Matrimonial Suite," was very small, rank with the odor of mold and mildew, and had a bathroom constructed of prefab. glass panes.

Liked: it was a good location.

Disliked: I really disliked being moved to another hostel. Our rooms were also connected to another room, so we could hear everything from the other room!! there was no way to close the window that connected the 2 rooms! The beds were extremely uncomfortable and had no back support. Not only that, all the beds were touching each other...thats how little room there was! It seriously looked like they crammed as many beds as they could into a small space.

Liked: The location is great, it is easy to find. If you want a cheap place to stay, and just a bed to sleep on use this as a last resort.

Disliked: I think your opinion on this place will depend on the property you get. We shared a double bed. It did not appear the sheets had been changed. The bed was a bit beyond its lifespan. The strangest part was that the bed was in the common area of the appartment - with the tables and chairs around it. It was like sleeping in the living room/dining room. It was hot, but the noise from the street was too loud to have the window open. If sensitive to noise, would not recomend.

Liked: A very pleasant owner: we arrived a bit late and was worried about the reception time but everything went fine. We could also leave our luggage for the next day while we were looking around 5 villages of Cinque Terre. She also recommended the restaurant and food there was also very nice and with reasonable price. We enjoyed so much while staying in the hostel, and I am very much considering to visit the region again. Of course, I will book this hostel at that time also! :)

Disliked: The last reception is at 5p.m. but you can still get in by calling to the owner's phone.

Liked: The view from the balcony.

Disliked: The exposed electrical wires in the bathroom The hostel quality provided at a hotel price (99 Euro per night) The fact that the bathroom door was just propped to one side in pieces so none of us were able to close it for privacy The (barely larger than twin) size of the bed which was supposed to sleep 3 people The location The fact that when we requested another room & were told we would be changed for our 2nd night we were not The fact that the door was broken (as in the plaster holding the door frame of the outside entrance to the room in place was cracked and falling apart) The fact that the stairway light & switch outside of our room did not work so we had to stumble down 1 flight of the steep & winding stair case in the dark before we could get to the 5th floor where a working light switch had to be located by groping the wall. The apathy of the staff when I informed that one of the members in our group had asthma and could not walk up so many flights of stairs.

Liked: It is actually in Riomaggiore which is my favorite town in Cinque Terre. It has a kitchen in the room which is nice. Definitely worth the money.

Disliked: I don't really have anything to complain about

Liked: NOTHING!

Disliked: The owner is rude rude rude!!!! I really don't believe that the room where we stood was even legal, as there wasn't any conditions at all!!! If you want to enjoy cinque terre, don't stay there! I've been in several hostels in Europe, and believe me, I never saw nothing as this, dirty, unsafe...I don't have enough words to describe how I regret to stay there...

Liked: Great location and cheap. Lots of places to eat around the hostel.

Disliked: Very noisy at night. Music outside goes till 1 or 2 am. 2 rooms share the same toilet. If u r in the front room, u have to walked through the other bedroom while everyone is sleeping to get to the toilet :(

Liked: It has cooking facilities which is very handy and we managed to meet some great people there due to the closeness of the rooms.

Disliked: Staff were little help and quite rude at times, There is No free wifi as advertised.
