Liked: This bed & breakfast is like a home away from home..it is very nicely furnished and decorated and only a few steps away from the castle and the fish market. Rob, the owner, is a very friendly and helpful host and welcomes you like a friend. He gives tipps and recommendations and even has a hitlist of his favourite restaurants in Catania ready. You have a big choice for breakfast and Rob is using good quality food! I highly recommend 5 balconi!!!

Disliked: The only thing you have to know about 5 balconi is that it is located at a busy street. Just bring ear plugs for the night and you'll be fine.

Liked: We stayed for 2 nights and really liked B&B. The owner was very nice and hospitable. He gave us many useful tips. Breakfast was also very nice and I could say, it was the best breakfast for this price from all breakfasts which we had in Sicily. Location was amazing, close to many main attractions, good restaurants and bars. It was also very safe. I'd definitely recommend this guesthouse to all travellers. I'm sure u'll like it a lot!

Liked: rob, the owner, is the best host you can imagine: helpful and always in the best mood. we were able to stay a day longer and he even helped us to reschedule our plans. the location itself is a wonderful arrangement of colours and accessoires, you feel at home immediately. everything is neat and clean, the breakfast offered is delicious and you reach the sights of catania in an instant: 5balconi b&b is just perfect!

Liked: Rob- the owner was amazing, the place itself was charming, the breakfast was reaally nice (fresh croissant from the nearby bakery e.g. and not the packed ones bought in carrefour as we had in another B&B).Rob was very helpful with all of useful information about Catania- places to go,see, etc. for sure if I am back in Catania will spend some time there!

Disliked: I have no complaints.

Liked: A lot of passion and love for detail went into the refurbishment of this property. Rob did a great job. The room was clean and bright, the breakfast-in-bed was amazing, Rob's advise for sightseeing and food were fantastic. We always felt well looked after and fully recommend this hostel.

Disliked: From the room we could hear the street below, but noise levels were still fine.

Liked: I absolutely adore this B&B. The space is beautiful and the service is incredible. Rob was so warm and helpful, he really made our stay in Catania extra special. The location is perfect and rooms are extremely comfortable. Thanks so much Rob!

Disliked: They are building a lift right now, so be careful when walking up the stairs.

Liked: The owners are super nice and helpful, the rooms are spacious are very cosy, the bathrooms-clean. The breakfast is great and also the common room is very pretty.
