melissa kellyWe had a funny little top floor room which was great, except you needed to duck your head occasionally! Breakfast was excellent for €6. Very cheap internet as well. Really well decorated hotel. |

Customer reviewThis place was very cool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was immaculately clean - new, modern toilet and shower with colorful lights inside. Interesting design. Even a little fridge. The was one tragic flaw - the ceiling in the room was ridiculously low - I hit my head on it several times. Therefore, the space was somewhat limited. For this sole reason, it is not a perfect ten. It is, however, overall good value for Italy. |

David KeetchAccomodation was expensive in Bologna's city centre, but this hotel, located a short walk from the train station was good value and was in walking distance the Bologna's main piazza. Rooms and bathroom were clean and relatively new and breakfast was excellent. Internet was also available at very cheap rates in the lobby. |

Customer reviewAn excellent location for the train station and bus stop for the airport bus. A 15min stroll from Piazza Maggiore and the main sights, along one of the main shopping streets that has plenty of restaurants. The room was small but luxurious with large comfortable bed, aircon, flat screen TV, safe, kettle/teabags/coffee and fridge/minibar. The bathroom was stunning - ultra modern with cool sink, heated towel rail, bidet and an amazing shower!! The whole hotel is well decorated and each room themed... we weren't sure we'd got the right place for the bargain price we paid! The hotel is clean and quiet with huge comfy sofas downstairs, while the internet and breakfast are extra. The atmosphere is of a hotel rather than hostel, but we'd definitely recommend it... as others have said - a hotel at hostel prices! Perfect for couples. |

Lewis MunroIt's a really lovely HOTEL, not a hostel, at an unbelievably reasonable price. There are TVs in every room and you get a kettle with free tea and coffee. There's also a safe in the room so you don't have to worry about carrying your passport etc. around with you. All the rooms are themed and really thoughtfully decorated. Only a very short (5 minute) walk to the train station, and only about 15 mins into the main central Piazza of Bologna, which is a lovely walk straight up one of the main streets in Bologna. |

Customer reviewThe hotel is really a bargain. The new rooms are exceptionaly beautiful and sweet (we were sure they made a mistake for charging us so low). WiFi and breakfast cost extra, but the place is great value for money. |

Angela WraightThis is a warm and friendly hotel with great decor and very comfortable, unique rooms. Our room was on the 3rd floor, ensuite with ac, a fridge and some very quirky mood lights in the shower... The hotel is a little far from the centre of town but still within walking distance, and very convenient for the train and bus station. Breakfast provided was excellent and very plentiful for just €5. Overall Il Guercino is very good value. Definitely recommended! |
