Liked: Hot shower

Disliked: So far away, unfriendly staff, bathrooms reek of urine and not cleaned enough or well.

Liked: Inexpensive, clean but with good facilities, and good bus connection to Bologna centre.

Disliked: Dormitory has shuttered windows and no 'throw lock' on the inside of door. (In case of fire)

Liked: Cheap, clean and very helpfull staff.

Disliked: Its hard to find. There is no sign that this building is a hostel and you have to guess or ask someone.

Liked: It was clean and quiet.

Disliked: It was out of the main centre. The bus was easy enough to get there and back but it was just a nuisance. The othe thing is that there is a total lock out between 10am and 2pm so you can't leave your bags if you arrive before than.

Liked: met some nice people

Disliked: staff very unhelpful. Middle of nowhere and can not get buses easily. no food or anything around. breakfast quite average. The worst thing was the fact that they lock you out of your room and and the entire hostel from 10 till 2 everyday. can not get in to even use the toilette or get your things. Would not go again.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception!

Disliked: You have to be a member of the Youth Hosteling International association in order to stay there. If you are not, you can apply for the card at the reception for a cost of 3 Euro.

Liked: i liked the set up of the rooms very clean hostel. staff were friendly. only stayed in bologna one night could have easily stayed more.

Disliked: location is a bit out of the way if arriving at night but thats all.

Liked: It's a nice place.The crew is very polite. I've slept very well. It is quite place.

Disliked: it is a bit far from downtown, however there is a bus stop very close.

Liked: It was huge, there was lots of space in the room and in the bathrooms. I never felt cramped anywhere.

Disliked: Location. It took me FOREVER to find the place and then taking the bus 20 min into the main square was kinda a bummer especially since the last bus leaves at 821. I would have liked to experience a little bit of the nightlife but I don't trust buses and I'm a girl traveling alone.

Liked: The rooms were quite spacious. Four normal beds (not bunk) in one room and big lockers for each. The bathrooms were fine. The showers actually have space for a chair as well so all your stuff doesn't get wet like at some places. Isn't right in the city centre but the bus is pretty easy and just takes 15min. There was some chairs outside were people hung out and chatted which was cool. Met some nice people. Very friendly place

Disliked: There is a lock-out from 10-2pm which isn't that bad, but you can't sleep in if you wanted to. Also the last bus leaves the city at 0.44

Liked: Great atmosphere here, met a lot of really cool people. Sang classic rock songs over some wine with a great group outside.

Disliked: A bus ride out of the city center, but it is close to a big grocery store and shopping area. Being apart from the city gives it its own vibe though.

Liked: Very helpful staff and a great atmosphere. Good place to meet people and make friends.

Disliked: The toilet/shower room became dirty very quickly and stayed that way for the rest of the day. The hostel is a little out the way, but the directions to get there are good. The 21B bus does NOT go from right outside the train station though - it is across the main road, so was difficult to find. Also, no signs on bus stops telling you when to get off, so ask the driver.

Liked: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and each person got their own locker, so you're valuables were always secure. Overall, I felt very comfortable there.

Disliked: You have to take a bus from Bolognia city center to get to the hostel because it's several kilometers out of the city. However, the bus runs often and once you figure out where the bus stop is in the city, it's no problem.

Liked: Tthe rooms are spacious and the people great; good atmosphere - I would quite recommend the hostel!

Disliked: The property is about 50 minutes walking from the old city wall ring, which is a bit far. The showers do need some improvement.

Liked: it had decent facilities and was clearly set up by someone who knew the essential aspects of a hostel.

Disliked: it was definitely further from centro than i would have liked, but i can't complain about that too much, since they are very clear on their website that they are about a 10-15 minute bus ride outside centro. however, the hostel provided incorrect information about the bus stops to get back out there at night, which resulted in a rather lengthy and unpleasant partial bus ride and a hike through the middle of nowhere. it wasn't the end of the world, but it would have been much appreciated if they had given us correct information. the beds were really uncomfortable and difficult to sleep in, and the staff were not really the most competent that i have seen. it was also really weird that they didn't have any coed rooms. this was really annoying when my boyfriend and i had to leave early in the morning and disturb not just one, but two, rooms of sleeping people.

Liked: It was kind of like a chalet resort except that it did not have a pool. The rooms are really big and spacious.

Disliked: I do not recommend this hostel at all. Its actually outside Bologna and at night bus services run every hour and also during the day there is only one line service to get out of there. First they put me in a room in a building at 1000m away from the main building, whithout internet, and if you just forgot anything in your room you would loose a lot of time in this transit. This building also did not have lockers. Part of the staff is healpful, part is ok, but some of than, Jeasus, they just want you to get away as soon as possible. There was a bus strike and i would ask for infomation and the girl just treated me so bad, its was easier to ask at the gas station. The bathroom flooded and was very nasty in the morning.
