Liked: The rooms are big and clean. There is a locker cabinet for each person inside the room. Quite good and complete breakfast.

Disliked: The fact that we have to pay for the towel; despite the fact that on the front door there is a sign saying that you have to be holder of a IYH card and that the maximum stay is for 3 nights, I truly believe that there is people living there, like workers or something: not quite the hostel to mingle with other backpackers or turists. They have a timetable for dinner but they don't have a restaurant; they sell frozen food.

Liked: Nothing really.

Disliked: Quite far away from the centre, no way to keep your belongings safe (as they had run out of padlocks).

Liked: It was cheap. There isn't much choice when it comes to hostels in Bologna. The bus to the hostel is relatively simple once you find out when it comes. Warm shower. Great safe storage place for each person.

Disliked: It's a 20minute (exact) bus ride from the central train station. Though it's the end of the line, it continues going so I wasn't aware I had missed it until I arrived back at the station. Just look out. I had a terrible bed but the others were fine.

Liked: Good pressured hot showers.

Disliked: Being asked to leave at 10.30 as the hostel was being locked. No kitchen or even hot water avaliable. And beware, bus 21 is a night bus. find bus 93 during the day.

Liked: Friendly and very patient staff. they were willing to let me stay after checkout hours so I could safely wait for my train to Roma. my building was fairly quiet.

Disliked: Poor signage. The hostel was located behind trees near, but not directly visible from the bus stop. When I got there, I had no idea which building was the hostel. One of the hostel buildings was across from the shadiest-looking nightclub I'd ever seen- didn't trust it, didn't enter. Room smelled like socks and looked like a white cinder block with beds.

Disliked: The most important it's really far from city center. The breakfast is poor and horrible.

Liked: At first someone at the reception made an error and made me pay 30 euro instead of 15. I was to tiered and didn't have internet access so I couldn't contradict them. To my surprise when I came back from town they figured it out ,gave me back my money and everything was fine. I think it's much harder to admit you made a mistake and work to fix it than just to prevent one.

Liked: The place is good, very well organized but far away from the centre. You have to take a bus which passes by once in a blue moon. The last bus from the centre to the hostel is 0h20... Nevertheless the staff is very friendly and all is in several languages. The staff speaks English very well.

Liked: Very nice and helpful staff. I booked room for four persons but I slept in five person room. I don't know why. The internet is very exspensive, I think. 3 € / 1 hour. The breakfast is OK. If you want to have a good night it is perfect place, far from street noise.
