CASA CANTONE was for centuries an independent village, with his own church, school and bakery.

Having been completely renovated maintaining it’ own original character it is a perfect place to pass a peaceful and relaxing holiday, with the opportunity of visiting in the nearby vicinity famous artistically villages like Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Todi and Perugia. Our sporting activities include the use of our bicycles and the private swimming pool.

We can also go for long walks in the beautiful surrounding country-side or organize horse- riding in a nearby riding school. On the cultural side our cook gives 3-day cooking courses which demonstrate the typical dishes of our area. A visit to one wine cellars offers a chance to taste the famous wines typical of this area like the "sagrantino", "rosso di Montefalco" and "grechetto"; equally interesting is a visit to our local olive oil press when you can follow the whole process of making oil.

Casa Cantone offers a overnight stay with breakfast in the following rooms :

• 2 rooms with a common bathroom
• 7 apartments with the occupation from 2 up to 5 persons
All the rooms are furnished with furniture from the 19 century. C.C. also offers the possibility to enjoy an dinner based on the typical Umbrian kitchen.

The main manifestation to be held have a religious character like the Festa della Madonna del Cantone in the end of may as well as an historical character like the market of the gaite in Bevagna the last two weeks in June. In this opportunity it is shown the life of the 4 parts of B. in which the Town was divided in the middle age. The 4 parts challenge each other to reconstruct the middle age in its best way.
