Liked: It was easy to find amd though the room was very spartan there was a power shower in the room and clean towels every day

Liked: Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Very central position close to station bus route (A1). Clean, apparently new, reasonably priced. Bergamo is brilliant, a destination in itself and so convenient for Ryanair (Milan). Only disappointment was breakfast, which was sparse.

Liked: The hostel is great value for money. Although not in the old, upper part of town, its location in the lower part of town is very good. And if you do want to head up to the old part of town, all you have to do is take a short walk (say 10 mins?) to the funicular that takes you up to there. Or you can take a quick bus ride up there. The staff were really friendly and accomodating. The facilities were very clean and modern. There have a computer where you can access the internet for free. This a bright and cheery hostel.

Liked: I liked the staff but the room was not properly cleaned. I just stayed there for a night but if I had stayed there for longer I think that I wouldn't have enjoyed it that much....

Liked: The clenliness and decor/size of rooms (large and airy) were excellent. In addition, the staff were all very helpful; especially the owner. The location was also good, being situated between the old/upper town and train station. The shop[s and supermarket were very close.

Liked: It is in such an excellent location (near the train station, also a stop along the airport bus route) and the lady we encountered at the reception was so helpful and accommodating. Perhaps it's characteristic of all these Bergame-ese since most were particularly helpful!
