Liked: The apartment was within easy walking of everything within Bergamo, the complimentary tea, coffee, juices and continental breakfast was an added bonus. We also really enjoyed the balcony as a place to relax in the sun. However, we had booked a private 6 person sleeping, which atually turned out to be 2 people in one room and 4 in the other. Also although it was an entire apartment and rooms had their own locks on them the kitchen was shared with 2 people that we did not know who had their own random room within the apartment with their own bathroom. This meant that we did have to be careful about noise levels when coming in late at night/leaving early in the morning. Trains into Milan only took 50mins and was reasonably priced. Definatly worth staying there if you want somewhere a bit cheaper than central Milan. Really easy to get to and cheap by shuttlebus from Bergamo Airport - though make sure you've printed out the map of how to get around in Bergamo! Velvet Bar around the corner is a locals haunt and definatly worth a trip - though I'm not sure how impressed the locals were with our dancing skills! The old city is very beautiful particularly at night with spectacular views over the whole of Bergamo.

Liked: Nice woman to pick you up from the station. It's not the most fun place in bergamo, but you are in the old centre in no time by public transport or the funiculair.there are 3 nice rooms, that share one bathroom, which is convenient enough. 30 euro's p.p.p.n. is a bit much though, dispite the huge balkony you have when sleeping in the "diamond"room.

Liked: The hostel was clean and seems a secure place. The bathroom was nice and clean. It was one of the better place that i have been in a 5 day tour from the north of italy. I recommend this hostel.

Liked: Very helpful staff and a kitchen so you could prepare food or have a cup of tea whenever you wanted. It was well equipped and even had a hairdryer! Location was good and close to bus stops to airport.
