Liked: Good location.

Disliked: A bit cold but there appears to be a live-in resident/cleaner who was able to put the heating on. Lucky she was in at the time. No kettle in room. Internal doors very squeaky. Bit noisy from the outside traffic and funiclare.

Liked: The classic style in the rooms and baths. The location close to the old city and busstop. A very friendly and polite host. Clean towels every day, even on sunday.

Disliked: I missed a waterheater (to make yourself some coffee or tea) and a refrigerator. There should also be some more carpets. The nights were a little cold (in october).

Liked: very well decorated, pretty, very comfy bed

Disliked: it was a bit inconvenient to not have the owner or a receptionist there. just a guy who meets you and lets you in and gives you a key and leaves.

Liked: Lorenzo arranged in advance to meet us, and then was very helpful in arranging a taxi for us for our early flight the next morning. We ended up actually staying in the apartment rather than the room we'd booked, which was lovely and very cosy. Plus, the location is amazing. You cannot beat it.

Liked: The location is perfect for easy access to all of Bergamo. The price was about right for what you get... comfortable accomodation with no frills. Lorenzo picked us up at the airport (small charge) but was worth it. He allowed us to keep the room late on the last day with no extra charge which was really appreciated.
