Liked: Amazing view from the bedroom balcony and the veranda downstairs, beautifully kept gardens and the bedroom and ensuite were immaculately clean and very comfortable. The owner, Annamaria was wonderfully friendly, helpful and welcoming. I arrived quite late, and the kitchen was finished but she made me up a plate of prosciutto, and some bread and wine so I didn't go hungry! I've given it a low score for fun, because there simply wasn't any. It's not that kind of place - if you want peace, tranquility and relaxation it's perfect, but if you're looking for fun go elsewhere! The location - while stunningly beautiful - is not the easiest to get to though and you pretty much need your own car which was a slight drawback for me anyway as it meant I couldn't have a few glasses of wine with dinner in any of the surrounding villages as I'd have to drive afterwards. There isn't an actual restaurant in Locanda del Biancospino but if you let Annamaria know in advance that you want dinner, she will include you. You don't get a choice off a menu or anything, it's just whatever she happens to be making that day. The meal I got was excellent though and I am sure that I would not have been disappointed with anything else that Annamaria might have prepared as she is clearly a very good cook.

Liked: This is the greatest hotel i have ever stayed in, the owners were so nice - they gave us a lift to the local bus depot. Simply amazing, the best views you could imagine - A great place in Italy - in a word - GO, GO NOW!!!!!
