Liked: This place was great! After many delayed trains, the staff moved our booking date free of charge. They also personally picked us up from the bus staion. Breakfast was great too.

Disliked: The WiFi didn't work in the rooms, but it worked fine in the lobby which allowed us to do what we needed to.

Liked: walking distance to Assisi

Disliked: no character, feeling of total isolation, service hard to obtain, no fascilities to make/obtain your own drinks. no permanent servicedesk...etc etc

Liked: Stayed here for one night but our room was so clean and beautiful. The gentleman at reception directed us to the bus stop and how to walk to St. Francis. Breakfast was good too.

Liked: Ample free parking, huge bedroom and ebsuite, with balcony and views. Quiet location a short walk uphill to Assissi. Good breakfast, helpful staff. Nice outdoor lounge area. Air conditioned room with fridge.

Liked: The staff were lovely and so helpful. It was a very peaceful, beautiful hotel. Nice location just down the hill from Assisi town so you are a little away from the hubbub and noise but close enough to walk comfortably (10 minutes) though its uphill so you need to be a little fit otherwise take the bus. We had the best view of the basilica from our bedroom window and were surrounded by Umbrian countryside. There was a lovely terrace to sit out on at the end of the day with a very reasonably priced wine/beer and book.

Liked: Good hotel down the hill from Assisi town. Easy enough to walk up the pathway. Great balcony for afternoon drinks. Friendly and helpful staff.

Liked: This hostel is wonderful. The location is perfect for enjoying all of Assisi, most importantly the peaceful atmosphere St Francis himself desired. The facilities are four star, the staff friendly, helpful and encouraging, the garden location and view unbelievable. Anyone traveling with a group should look here first, there is room for youth to run and play, a chapel for Mass if you travel with a priest, a good restaurant and a nice common room with cafe available! I will go back.
