Customer reviewThe place was awesome and the staff is incredible and do whatever they can to make you the most comfortable. The location is a bit out of the way and the last bus from Amalfi leaves at 8:50 at night which is a tad inconvenient. If you are just wanting to see the towns during the day and enjoy the b and b in the evening, it is perfect!! |

Brett SavageGreat place to get away from it all, amazing views and friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast! If you're catching the bus (which we did) the directions could use some help. On the bus ride you will see 4 (I think) flags on the right hand side of the road, push the bus stop button and get off (100m up the road it will stop) and walk back down to the 4 flags and its down that road. |

Elka GeorgievaFico d'India was really the right place for our vacation. The service was excellent - custemer oriented, flexible and professional. Amazing sea view from the rooms and from the restaurant. Very delicious food, good wine, fanastic hand-made pastries and cakes. It's a very nice place where you can meet interesting people from all over the world. Special thanks to Pino and Mario :) |

Jason WrightPino and the team run a truly welcoming bed and breakfast. I was probably a bit of a pushover though - upon arrival and while checking in Pino offers a shot of espresso, after my long drive and draining day a quality coffee was exactly what I felt like. From there it only gets better. |

Paul MineoFico D'India is off the scale; without a doubt the best B&B on the planet. Pino, Mario and his family are fantastic in every sense! You cannot fault this place. Breakfast is to die for and if you can manage, stay in for dinner because you will not find a better menu for such reasonable prices. Great rooms, with amazing views of the coast with everything you will need and more. Thank you Pino for making our trip so unforgettable! |

Paul SpadoniAnybody thinking about starting a bed and breakfast should spend a week at Fico d’India for training, under the influence of a truly masterful host. Pino is as good as they get, and for the price, so is his facility. He smoothly combines warmth and professionalism and pays attention to the details. We are not coffee drinkers but we enjoy cioccolata calda. We mentioned this to him on the first day and ever-after it was prepared for us with breakfast. It was a small gesture, but many small examples of his warmth and attentiveness combine to create a thoroughly enjoyable experience. And speaking of breakfast, the pastries are a step above the dry standard Italian fare because the fillings provide some substance and flavor. The rooms are clean, warm, adequately spacious, and the showers unlike any I have seen. The facility is located on a beautiful hillside overlooking the water and numerous farms located on the steep slopes. It is a winding 5-kilometer drive to the coastal highway. Having a car will give you more freedom to explore the coast on your own schedule, but the blue SITA bus does go by Fico d’India if you are using public transportation. Grazie mille to Pino, Mario and the rest of the family. |

Mark HollenbachThis is the nicest place ever. It is like a small hotel it is not a hostel. They could charge so much more beacase it is the most relaxing and beautiful place to stay. The rooms are massive and have an amazing view of the coast. Pino the owner goes above and beyond his job...he is amazing and will do anything. He was constantly busy serving food, driving people places, checking people in and making itinaries for people during their stay here. We traveled for four months and thi was the best place to stay. Almalfi Coast is beaufiul on its own but staying her makes the whole trip worth while. The food in the resturant is inexpensive (compared to eating out in Almalfi) and deliciously fresh. Breakfast every morning is free and sooo filling (two pastires, toast, orange julce, cappuchino, jams). I can honestly not say enough good things about this place...I will definately be back. |
