Liked: This is in an ideal location to walk to the old part of the city (about 5-10 min walk). Nice sized rooms. Extremely clean B&B. Shared bathroom but had great shower and kept clean and tidy at all times. Gemma the owner is very helpful and speaks some English.

Liked: It is quite possibly the best place that I stayed in Europe. The location is wonderful as it is literally three minutes away from the beach and five minutes away from the old town. Gemma is a friendly and helpful host. She recommends good restaurants around the town and they were all excellent. The stay at Lloc d'Or isn't complete without a creamy latte every morning made by another host - a friendly Italian grandma who completes your true Sardinian experience.

Liked: Nice homely atmosphere we really enjoyed our stay and would we recomend this B&B. Alghero is a lovely place for a weekend away with nice restaurants, bars and a great beach not too far away.

Liked: The hostel is fairly close to the centre. The lady who runs the B&B is loveley, most helpful and takes great care of her guests. She makes you feel very welcome. A very nice place!

Liked: This is the best quality hostel I have ever stayed in. Everything was spotless and the stuff was very friendly. If you want to feel like a part of a typical Italian family for a while, then this is the place to stay in.

Liked: Jemma the owner did everything she could to make our stay at her B&B in Alghero as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommended. The location was only a few minutes walk from the promenade, beach and marina and 10 minutes from the old centre. No need for a car as easy to reach by bus from the airport although car parking is available. The hostel only has 3 rooms so is very cosy and extremely clean. Use of kitchen, washing machine and iron on request. If you go to Alghero make use of the Tourist information office with helpful informative staff. Thank you to Jemma and her lovely mum.
