Liked: Very friendly place to stay. Staff was very helpfull and fun to be around.It feels like be with the family. Really recommend the place.We will come again definitely.

Liked: It was a very nice hostel owned by a woman and her italian family. They were wery friendly and helpful and we even got a ride to the airport! I dearly recomend this hostel to everyone!

Disliked: The property was bit far from the city, about 30 min walk to the beach and 40 into the old town. Having a car or bike will make this a lot easier, however we managed easily without. As long as you are able to walk!

Liked: This hostel was about a 20 min walk to the beach and a 40 min wander into the old town. The owner and her family/staff are really friendly and helpful, the swimming pool and rooms are cleaned regularly. They cater for everyone. I would definately return next year.

Liked: The pool is amazing and the people around the hostel (a family i guess) were very very friendly. Breakfast was fine. It is located a little out of town making the atmosphere around it amazing and authentic rural Italian - the distance is no problem if you hire a bike although the taxi they run is very reasonable anyway.

Liked: Beautiful location just outside Alghero with a wonderful pool, so relaxing and very spacious. Very peaceful but with atmosphere, the staff were great and helpful. One thing, however, is it is a little far out from beaches and centre if only on foot, but with bikes it is a perfect location, away from the town but a lovely cycle ride down a country lane - beach and centre Alghero less than 10 mins. Hostal offers a great taxi service from/to anywhere if without bikes.

Liked: Great family business, very flexible and ready to serve anytime. Swimming people is excellent. Great BBQ. Will definitely come back. Very warm and genuinely hospitable. Very good value for money! Thank you to all the team of Il Rovo who works hard to meet all our expectations!
