Liked: The owner Paul is very very nice. We went to there on JAN 01, 2012, finally figured out that there's no bus could take (from Castellammare to hotel). He drove from hotel to pick us up at Castellammare train station. Thanks for that, we have a wonderful day!

Liked: loved how friendly everyone was. Staff couldn't do enough to help with travel plans :) so pritty with lovely views and walks on the doorstep

Liked: This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. Paolo and Anna-Marie (the couple running the hostel) are one of the friendliest, helpful people you will ever meet. Although it is a bit far out from the Coast, it is a beautiful walk and the hostel is in an authentic Italian viliage - the people are friendly and it is so CHEAP compared to Amalfi Coast! I would recommend this place.

Liked: Nice place to stay, better than Amalfi and Positano. Very nice views of the coast. Nice village and good opportunities to hike and swim. Good kitchen and a good place to meet other travellers.

Liked: The location is a little out of the way (an hours bus journey from Amalfi), but is a beautiful and extremely peaceful area, off the tourist track and populated by locals. San Lazzaro is up in the mountains, so expect wonderful views, and is in an area designated as national park, so lots of lovely walks.The hostel itself was in an extremely charming building which has been turned into a hostel, whilst retaining many of its original features. The owner just left you to your own devices as the hostel was in a seperate building across from his house, so you could come and go as you pleased, although help and advice was always forthcoming.

Liked: Newly remodeled, this place was awesome!! Staff was the friendliest we had in Italy. Beautiful town on top of the mountains. Great value for your money. Bus stop right outside takes you where ever you want to go. Definitly will come back here if i get the chance to venture to Italy again, and will be recommending to all friends going there.

Liked: Paulo the owner was the nicest and most accommodating person i have met in Italy so far! he gave us advice and directions even when we didn't ask for them and was so cooperative! the place was adorable and charming and we loved staying there!

Liked: The owners were very friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean, quiet and a great to get place to have a 'true' italian break. The bus stop is right outside the hostel.

Liked: This hostel is really cheap for the amalfi coast area. You can walk to amalfi on a really nice hike. The staff is so helpful, I really appreciated how kind they were.
