La Casa del Melograno is an ancient Eolian house from the beginning of the 1900, with high ceilings, wrought-iron beds and tiled floors.
The “Casa del Melograno” is an ancient eolian house from the beginning of the 900, with high ceilings, wrought-iron beds, tiled floor and an old millstone for olive oil (not restored yet); our guests have at their disposal four independent rooms and two small but cosy bathrooms (shared) in an outside patio like the eolian tradition; the two first floor rooms have a tiny terrace where are possible relaxing, sunbathing and having a relaxing breakfast as well.
The house is located in the high and panoramic side of Santa Marina (main harbour and nerve-centre of the island) a few hundred meters from the sea, the tourist port and the centre: a spectacular sight on Lipari, Panarea and Stromboli, and the absolute calm due to the convenient position far from the “traffic” area, makes the stay ideal for who wants to know Salina and the Eolian Islands in relax and discretion.
