Liked: This hostel is located very close to Old Jaffa city, just walking distance to the main attraction I wanted to see - Siman's house.

Disliked: The hostel is dirty. I met two stuff person, two ladies, one young about 20 something and the other older, 50+. The younger was working when I checked in. She treated me more like an intruder than welcomed guest. In addition, she was completely clueless about places tourist are interested in seeing. One would think that the owner/manager would require that stuff had at least basic knowledge about the area, but she was simply clueless.

Disliked: girl at the front desk was moody and a bit temperamental-reception hours of operation were fairly limited. A friend booked an early morning cab to the airport through the hostel that never showed up.

Liked: Great kitchen on rooftop. Good common areas

Disliked: Girt at front desk had some attitude. Seemed very upset at everyone checking in or asking any questions.

Liked: Authentic Midlle East atmosphere and plenty of bars close by. I stayed in a large single room that was comfortable and had character. Also the receptionist was vey helpfull

Disliked: Although my bed was comfy it wasnt the cleanist I've slept in

Liked: The communal kitchen/ dining/ lounge area on the roof was clean with great views of the Tel Aviv skyline. Situated in a pleasant and historic area. Clean toilet/ bathroom.

Disliked: Maybe would have liked access to television, and a bedroom kettle.

Disliked: rude and unhelpful staff. The plane comes in at 4:30 in the morning but reception does not open until after 9am. You are stuck. The bathrooms are too small,

Liked: A place with character - the opposite of a chain hotel. Feels like an authentic olde worlde hostel with original furniture, decor and eccentric interior layout. The rooftop lounge/kitchen is a particular plus. Very relaxed attitude of staff. I told them I might be arriving late due to my flight and they said ok - gave me the code for the door and left the key to my room in the lock. Maybe I spotted a small cockroach but frankly, I'd have been disappointed if there wasn't one.

Disliked: Noise all night long from outside. Some drunk guy singing the same melody over and over for about three hours straight. At about 3 in the morning I got up and looked out the window. Two guys were in the street looking at a computer monitor - I think one of them wanted to buy it from the other. Oh - and the 90 degree heat - in October!

Liked: Most charming hostel i've ever been. Very beautiful with lot of interesting details in decoration. Unique atmosphere. Very beautiful and big room, still not expensive. Good facilities..

Disliked: The reception was not open too much, especially when it was sukkot-time. So, for example, the internet was not usable after 3 pm etc..

Liked: It was all fine except for the staff - a bit out of the way perhaps

Disliked: I knock on the office door and state (in my charmingly apologetic voice), "Hello! Sorry to bother you, but would it be possible to switch on the air conditioning as several of my limbs have melted?" A cold look and this angry woman marches towards me: "IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU DO NOT ENTER MY OFFICE? I THINK SO. OUT, OUT AND ROUND THE OTHER SIDE." Conclusion: meanies. I'm afraid helpful and friendly staff are everything, and no matter how clean or perfect the hostel is in other regards, a trip can be ruined by such people. Definitely recommend the other hostels near Allenby and Ben Yehuda - much friendlier!

Liked: The rooftop ist cozy and there is an amazing view on the city and the sea. The rooms are a little bit tiny but okay (who wants to stay inside with such a rooftop?), the hostel itself is very clean. We booked it since we stayed there before and loved to come back.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Disliked: Lack of air condtioning in dorms - very hot at night. Only one shower was working on our floor.

Liked: I liked the place

Disliked: a very nice stay, only the woman at the recpetion needs a communication course. That would help her being nice and friendly. I had a little misunderstanding and she reacted very offended That felt not good

Liked: The lobby and the common areas in general. Everything very well decorated and friendly staff.

Disliked: Shared rooms are VERY stuffy, and there are no lockers (not even the possibility to bring your own lock because the closet handles are too far apart . Very little space in general, both in rooms and in showers. Everything is pretty dirty.

Liked: More modern hostel, very welcoming, very international.

Disliked: Toilets are bit difficult to manoeuvre in.

Liked: Our room had a large window that brought in plenty of sunlight and fresh air. There were three fans in the room that kept it plenty cool given the hot Tel Aviv summer.

Disliked: The door to the shower room was usually open and you could not change within the smallish shower stalls.
