Customer reviewGreat Budget for Backpackers, recommended, The staff were very kind and helpful in everything I needed.The location is perfect to discover Jerusalem with its traditional markets and historical sites and to book visits from the hostel which arranges good trips to the attractive sites in the town and the country like Galilee, Dead Sea, Bethlehem.....Very recommended to everyone. |

Alistair FARRGreat Location and good views from the roof. Right where you want to be in Jeruslam - inside the old city. Could do with a damn good deep clean and a new lick of paint. Beware - the Jaffa Gate - like most other hostels and restaurents - works on a cash economy - no credit cards accepted. Come on boys - join the 21st Century ! |

Customer reviewA nice hostel close to the lively market of old Jerusalem. Don't expect too much space in the room however it's reasonable clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Good place to stay in Jerusalem. |

Customer reviewI did enjoy my stay at Jaffa Gate. It was a great place to get together with people from all over the world, different cultures and religions. The staff was friendly and considerate. Since the dorm, I was supposed to sleep in was painted, I was given a private room for one night without further costs. However, I have to admit that the cleanliness of the bathroom have been an issue for me. They are not in the best shape and should be cleaned more often. Embarrasingly, I have to add that I came home with insects bites around my feet that look like flee bites. If the stem from the beds or sheets of the hostel or not, is not known. |

Customer reviewGreat location inside the Old City, our room had a nice view of the Holy Sepulchre. Perfect place to stay to explore the Old City and visit all the sites. Bathrooms could have been cleaner (shower, toilet, etc.). Staff was very friendly and helpful. |
