Liked: Verry kind stuff and great location in the old city of Jerusalem.

Disliked: Due to a open window in dormitory 1 the room was too cold at nights.

Liked: View from terrace is good, and building itself (especially, living room near the door) is pretty. If you want to walk around old city, location is also good.

Disliked: We stayed in private room, and It was really really cold in the room. It is near the terrace, bus we need to go through terrace (of course, outside) to go to bathroom. It rained, so just get out from room was difficult. It costs 20 INS to lent hearter, but we needed to lent it. We wore coat inside the room. If it is summer, it may be OK... I wanted to cook, but there are few plate and spoon and folk, and no oven for bread and microwave. My friend lost food (4 or 5 cups of pudding and large pack of humus..) she stored in fridge.

Liked: the location is good.

Disliked: it is not that good as recomendation. it is dirty and people here do not have clean sheet, and it is really crowded.

Liked: nice, authentic ambiance other travelers are pleasant

Disliked: low ceilings people were sleeping on the sofas in the public areas kind of open windows without curtains between my dorm and a living room, so noisy and little privacy uncomfortable beds

Disliked: terribly small. The feelling is to be packed like anchovies in a can. No complimentary tea or coffee. Wi-fi only in the incredible small cave called "reception".

Liked: It was a real experience being able to sleep on the roof overlooking all of the old city Jerusalem including the dome of the rock.

Liked: The location is very good; the staff was very friendly and helpful, even if sometimes they had to deal with too many people at once.

Disliked: Would've liked more comfortable showers, but I guess that's a tradeoff between a cool old house and some modern facilities.

Liked: Location, style... It was a truely beautiful hostel!

Disliked: No alcohol, and basically a very calm, at times boring, place to be.

Liked: Great location for those who want to explore the Old City. Very close to Jaffa Gate, so easily accessible to bus routes and the Nesher service. Had a room with a double bed. Accommodations were humble, but adequate.

Disliked: The shower in the bathrooms is a complaint in some reviews I read prior to booking, but it's really not too bad.

Liked: There was an American guy working there who was really nice and great to talk to and also the other people staying there.

Disliked: Being freezing cold so not getting enough sleep which was because i was led to believe i had booked a room which turned out to be outside on the roof - OK if i knew beforehand cos would have bought a warmer sleeping bag.

Disliked: Bathroom and toilets not cleaned very often. Rates quoted in USD on booking confirmation but when I tried to pay in USD and they refused to accept USD instead insisting I pay in shekels using some unfair USD/Shelkel rate that added another 10% to the stay. Didn't like the atmosphere of the hostel.

Liked: The location is great. Nice view from roof top terrace. acient building.

Disliked: i booked a private room via hostelbookers.com. the booking wasn't there apparently so i ended up in 14 bed dorm :( terrible, hardly room to move between all the squeezed in beds.

Liked: Good location in the old city close to all the sites and quick and easy to find from Jaffa Gate. Great Atmosphere in the communal areas.

Disliked: Expected it to be better due to all the high ratings. facilities aren't great just basic. Basically a good cheap place to stay in the heart of the old city where prices for other places are high. However wouldn't rate it too highly but hey we only needed somewhere to sleep!
