Liked: THE STAFF ARE EXCELENT. THE LOCATION PERFECT FOR OLD CITY WEST JERUSALEM. GREAT JUMPOFF POINT FOR ANYWHERE IN ISRAEL. I HAVE ALWAYS MET INTERESTING PEOPLE HERE. SHARED FACILITIES GOOD. FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE.

Disliked: CAN BE NOISEY AT NIGHT. BEING ON KIKAR ZION. PERFECT FOR YOUNGSTERS.

Liked: La ubicación en la ciudad es muy buena y el costo no es elevado.

Disliked: Las camas son muy pequeñas e incomodas, los dormitorios y las salas comunes son muy calurosas. El internet en las computadoras comunes es muy lento. El desayuno es malo, sólo te y cafe y un pan muy barato y dulce muy muy barato. La gente del hostel no es simpatica ni accesible. Cuando llegamos un muchacho nos dijo que nuestra reserva de HOSTEL BOOKERS no era valida, que ellos debían certificar la reserva con un mail propio, que la nuestra no tenía validez. Nos dijo que el dinero de la reserva por internet se lo quedaba la pagina de internet y que no era un problema de ellos. Luego de discutir sobre la injusticia largo rato nos dieron las camas pero fue muy incomodo.

Liked: Good location, close to shops etc, 10 min walk to Jaffa gate although not right near the sherut stop anymore and no buses as a new tram line is being done. Imagine this will be very useful when complete. Breakfast advertised as 8.15, but never ready until 8.30 when we were there. Wifi only kitchen and reception.

Liked: Although the hostel isn't in the Old City, it's in a very good location in the city! With Ben Yehuda street at the front door, you pretty much have everything: restaurants, supermarkets and plenty of souvenir shops. The staff are very knowledgeable about the city, buses, and attractions and speak very good English. The free internet in the lounge is always a bonus.

Disliked: The place is noisy at night because the hostel is so central, but a pair of earplugs solves the problem. Breakfast is just breakfast and coffee, but for the price of the rooms, it's passable.

Liked: A hostel is just as good as its guests. We got some travellers who arrived at 3 am, had a party in the kitchen close to our room. Except this the hostel was nice. (Probably switching off the light/electricityin the kitchen between 11-6 would solve this problem.

Liked: Relation price quality ok. You can cook in the kitchen. The was a party in the street las night with music disco all the night very high. We could not sleep during all the night. Incredible the loose of respect!

Liked: I like the fact, that surway didn't ask what was bad...There were two bad things to be mentioned:1) The road construction going on in front of the Hostel. The traffic is now one way and pretty difficult. The acces to the entrance is a bit tricky...2) Right next to hostel, on the left, over a tiny street, there is a kind of club. It was a hell, I presume to everybody living on that side of hostel, to listen to the club's dance music every night Mon-Wed till 2-3am... Closing the balcony door did not help at all. The room was overheeted to add... In short - you have to be realy trained or tired to death to be able to sleep before 2-3am

Liked: The location is good but the tram works now going on makes the days and nights very noisy (we were not advised about that)They have a beautiful building but shows signs of needing a new carpet and paint job. Kitchen equipment has seen better days and the area is small. Breakfast is only a can of instant coffee, milk and biscuits, so be prepared to buy your own stuff. During our stay, hot water was missing, lukewarm at best. Some of the staff were great and really helpful and knowledgeable, others not so much, in fact quite indifferent. The supermarket is small and severely overpriced so dont count on that. All in all, there is not much choice in Jerusalem where to stay but we still highly recommend visiting this amazing city
