Liked: Great deck area, Wifi

Disliked: Moved around many times. Our stuff was moved without asking us and we were moved to a smaller room. The staff seemed confused and unorganized.

Liked: great location.in the muslim quarter of the old city.you can walk easily to everywhere you need.the staff is friendly and very helpfull so far it's been the best one in israel.very busy area and people are friendly.

Disliked: a bit far from the new jerusalem but if you understand well the city you'll be ok. saddly i went ther in winter and all shops in the old city work with the dayligth.as soon no dayligth no more trading.if you nee to eat or if you wish to go out for a drink you need to go to the new city. FOR ALL TRAVELLERS DO NOT FORGET FROM FRIADY 4PM TO SATURDAY 5/6PM THERS NEXT TO NOTHING OPEN IN THE NEW CITY OF JERUSALEM.AND THERE'S NOT PUBLIC TRANSPORT AT THAT TIME.

Liked: It was a great location in the old city, and it was clean. The roof deck was nice.

Disliked: I found the staff to be very unfriendly and unhelpful, and rude at times. Also, I was not expecting to be forbidden to enter my friend's room because I am female. HostelBookers did not indicate that unmarried couples could not room together.

Liked: They over booked for my first night and I had to move to another hostel, which is not clean, no air conditioner and very small room.

Disliked: The stuff try to charge me the substitute room for 35 euros! it was crazy:(

Liked: This was a great place to stay with a perfect location in the heart of the old town and a fantastic rooftop terrace from which you can get a great view of the dome of the rock.

Disliked: Staff were generally helpful but sometimes gave out different advice. If you want to book a sherut from Jerusalem to the airport, try do so a half day in advance. Apparently there is also a place just down from the hotel where you can book a ticket.

Liked: It's a clean place

Disliked: the staff. They are not very friendly. they moved my stuffs to another room w/out notice, until I back from visited the city. Then when I was ready to take a shower one guy came in and told me that i have to move of room because they need it.... and he wanted me to move to the laundry machine room or to a very isolated empty room..I do not like the way they treat me and obviously i did not move they were angry...probably they were like that w/me because I am a girl traveling by myself and the "hostel" which is actually a hotel is a Muslim place...I do not know but I totally won't back...

Liked: The location is really good and the environment is quite clean and comfortable. The booking price was based on dollars. They do not accept credit card and ask bad rate when converted to shekel. I need to be in the airport in the midnight. The staff did not want to offer the help of booking Nesher (airport shuttle bus service) and claimed only their private taxi service available.

Liked: We had booked in the female dorm but were upgraded to a private room at no extra cost. The staff were very polite and helpful and made for an enjoyable stay. The roof top views are excellent.

Liked: Great location in Old City and comfortable, clean room. Not much to eat in the Old City however and kind of shuts down at night except for the loud chanting and prayers. I would recommend this hotel for those on a budget.

Liked: Friendly staff, clean hostel, in the heart of the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem, close to the West Wall and all the sights of Old Jerusalem. Good choice especially for solo travellers. Dorms a bit expensive but nice, clean, spacious, with a/c. Definitely recommended

Liked: Excellent location in the heart of the Old City Muslim Quarter. Fantastic view from the rooftop deck. Breakfast is much better than in most places (includes hummus, tomatoes/cucs). Downsides: dorm rooms are crowded, the AC in our room wasn't working, and bathrooms are a bit dirty. Mostly an older crowd.

Liked: The staff who were without a doubt so helpful and accommodationg which made our stay in Jerusalem that much more enjoyable. The hostel was very clean and the breakfast was great with a fab view of the old city including an impressive view of Dome of the Rock!! Who could ask for more! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Liked: The location can't be beat. It's so close to everything and the rooftop view is stunning. We were so happy to find a place in the Old City and thought the hostel was clean, tidy, and safe. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking for affordable accommodation in the Old City. Excellent value for money.
