Liked: It is easy to describe what I liked - everything. First of all the owners are helpful, friendly. The garden is beautiful, the facility very clean. Great idea to run only 2 bed/3 bed shared rooms - enough privacy and no need of paying for usualy very overpriced single rooms. The best value for money (no kidding I would have paid even more - the only facility I would say so in Israel - "it is dirty cheap" and you get 3 times more than what you pay for - can compare with other facilities and prices all over Izrael) Great base for exploring not only Safed, but also Galilee lake and Golan Hights. In summer it must be refreshing to stay out of the main heat.

Disliked: The only think I disliked - I could spent here only 3 nights (however I prolonged it for a night).

Liked: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Safed Inn. The location was a perfect base for exploring the Galilee and Northern Israel. The place was clean, orderly and I appreciated the lovely garden area and kitchen facilities. There is also Internet access and a TV room. My room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. I liked being provided with towels and soap. I enjoyed my breakfast sitting out on the balcony outside my room. They also provide breakfast on site. The hosts were helpful and friendly and I got lots of valuable advice to use on my trip and recommendations in the area. I highly recommend spending time at the Safed Inn.

Liked: Amazing amazing experience!!! They have a beautiful garden and facilities, and very helful and freindly staff. We had a nice room with perfect aircon, cold water in the fridge already, tea and coffee provided for, couch/TV and large bathroom ensuite which we hadn't even asked for. The best was we were given bathrobes and towelsl to use their sauna and hottub which are ready for use every night until 11 pm. We got a good wine and glasses at the bar had a wonderful night followed by an amazing large breakfast with self-made jam and omlette. Best stay in Galilee/Golan ever, highly recommended for honeymooners or a romantic getaway!!!

Liked: Fantastic value for money. In a pretty location with two friendly dogs. Ricky and Doobi (hosts) were very helpful and knowledgable about what to do/see in the area. Highly recommend paying the extra for breakfast!

Disliked: You would find it difficult to see this part of Israel without a car.

Liked: The hosts are incredibly friendly. We were sorry to leave! The food was delicious and because of the cold we even got an upgrade (no extra charges). Absolutely fantastic place!

Liked: Riki and Dov who run the Safed Inn made us very welcome and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit, would love to go again sometime. Very nice breakfasts! The location of the hostel, although out of Safed itself, was not a problem as there is a convenient and regular bus service nearby.

Liked: We had a car so the location was excellent. It is at the top a hill and it was much cooler than Safed down below. If one does not have a car, it is a long walk.There are established trees and cool places to sit and eat one's own food. The kitchen is well equipped and the refrigerator in the room is a good size. Ricci and Dov are superb hosts and go the extra mile.

Liked: A wonderful place with a beautiful and captivating garden. You could not ask for more helpful owners, and Ricky is a fantastic cook so don't miss the breakfasts which are an essential start to any day of siteseeing around the Galilee and the Golan. The rooms are immaculately kept and they even folded our clothes for us! For those with a car, this is without doubt the best place to stay in northern Israel.

Liked: An excellent, attractive, friendly B and B. Bonus perks like a hot tub and sauna made for more than a "budget" hotel experience. Probably most convenient in connection w/ a car rental, as it's a steep slog up by foot from nearby Tzfat -- but taxis and buses to are available, so it is possible to stay w/o a car as well. One of the most pleasant moderately priced inn experiences I had in Israel. Highly recommended.

Liked: The managers were fantastic and so very helpful. They really know the area and gave excellent advice. The free internet, kitchen facilites and ultra confortable rooms made me forget this was a hostal. The Safed Inn was a good central place to tour the region. I imagine in the summer, the cooler temps at this higher altitude would be doubly important.

Liked: Absolutely wonderful experience. A breath of fresh air from crowded dirty Jerusalem. Traveled with a group of 6 people and all of us were overly satisfied with the accommodations. The rooms were very clean, and the service was excellent. The staff is very friendly, helpful and informative about the Galilean area and Israeli culture. All of the reviews about the Safed are spot on. Relatively close to everything in Galilee, and everyone in the group was thrilled we booked our stay there.

Liked: Very clean large rooms, large clean bathrooms, very friendly owners, great facilities, great breakfast, best value place to stay in the whole country. If you're going to be in the area, this is the place to stay without a doubt.

Liked: it was very clean and quiet. the staff were really nice and helpful! they even picked us up at the main bus station, so we didn't have to take another bus to the hostel. although it was a little out of the way, i would highly recommend this place.

Liked: This is the place to stay in the north of Israel! Super friendly staff, great rooms, wonderful breakfast and help and advice with everything you might possibly need. I am going to recommend this place to everyone I meet, and hope to come back one day myself!
