Liked: The owner was extreme friendly and gave great suggestions about things to do. The rooms are clean and there is all you need. Great location as it is in the heart of the city!! Definitely recommendable!

Liked: The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to help me. Stephen, the owner, even arranged for me to go to the Rose of Tralee festival at a lower price as another customer had not been able to attend. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Disliked: As with all hostels, sometimes other residents can leave a lot to be desired, but the owners always listened to any suggestions.

Liked: I liked the atmosphere, kitchen with dishwasher and comfy bedroom. I appreciate, that bath as like as the shower was available.

Disliked: Little discomfort was connection of toilet and bathroom. But it was like that only on my floor, maybe.

Liked: I had a great stay at the Castle Hostel in Tralee. It is located close to the town centre and bus/ train stations. The facilities and rooms were excellent , I got a warm welcome and plenty of assistance from Stephen and Aileen during my stay. This hostel experience was better than some hotels and B&B's I have stayed in and if I am back in Tralee this would be my first choice accommodation. The Castle Hostel offers excellent value for money and a really comfortable and friendly place to stay in Tralee.

Liked: We had a most memorable stay in the Castle Hostel Tralee Co Kerry ,and the proprietor Stephen was a most considerate & friendly host .We will most definitely return , and will recommend the Castle Hostel to all our friends .We would rate it 10 out of 10 , great value !

Liked: Stephen was great, it was like staying with a good friend. It was very home-like, and hostels are usually anything but. They really go out of their way to accommodate you. I'm doing the "backpack around Europe" thing, and I've stayed in a ton of Hostels, and I'd rather stay here over anywhere else.
