Dillanes Farmhouse - A modernised farmhouse, ideal for the Tarbert Ferry, Ballybunion Golf, Limerick, Clare, Tralee and North Kerry.

Dillanes Farmhouse is a stone built farmhouse over 100 years old but has been tastefully modernised to suit the needs and comforts of our guests.We are on the main Listowel-Tarbert road, well back from the main road so a good nights sleep is assured - absolutely no traffic sound.
Thomas and Mary, your hosts, are very interested in traditional Irish music and would have a special welcome for all music lovers. Thomas plays a few instruments and would enjoy a session with visitors. He could give lessons to beginners or improvers in whistle, flute,fiddle and accordion. It might be possible to visit local sessions on certain nights.

Location Information

Ideal tourist centre for counties Kerry, Limerick and Clare. We are only 5 minutes to the car ferry accross the river Shannon shorten the distance to the Cliffs of Moher. Golf courses locally in Listowel, Newcastle, Foynes, Tralee and world famous course Ballybunion all within 30 minutes drive.
Restaurants and pubs in the village love to make guests feel welcome and enjoy the local cuisine. Our guests can relax in their comfortable ensuite bedrooms or stay to chat in the well furnished sitting room or maybe play some music. Breakfast in the morning will be in the traditionally furnished dining room with iron fire-place dating back nearly 200 years or in adjoining conservatory furnished all the way from Malaya. Beautiful walks, heritage centre & castles gardens are all within 5 minutes from our farm.
