The eco-friendly Benwiskin Centre, holder of the EU Flower Ecolabel since 2008 is set in the shadow of Benwiskin Mountain Sligo, part of the Ireland's Dartry Mountain range, with the Sligo coastline a short distance away at Mullaghmore. The Benwiskin Centre is a 26 bed Hostel and Self Catering Accommodation Centre in a rural village called Ballintrillick, which is in North County Sligo.

PLEASE NOTE: Check in time is AFTER 2pm on the day of your arrival and check out time is at 11am on the day of your departure. Please call us in advance if you are arriving outside of office hours on either our office number 071 9176721 or our out of office hours mobile number 087 4149189 and inform a member of staff of your expected time of arrival (please arrive before 10pm). The nearest village to the Centre is in Cliffoney (approx. 4 miles) so if you arriving by foot, you are advised to purchase your groceries in advance.

The Benwiskin Centre was an old school, which has been renovated, restored and extended and offers high quality self-catering accommodation as follows:-
• Accommodation for up to 26 - suitable for group bookings/workshops/family reunions
• 2 Double rooms - A double bed and a set of bunk beds (private)
• 3 Twin rooms - 2 single beds and a set of bunk beds (private)
• 1 Dormer room - 3 sets of bunk beds (shared)

Accommodation Information

DORM ROOM
This room is ideal for backpackers/single travelers, the room can also be occupied by a group (please contact the Centre for this option). Our dormer room has 3 sets of bunk beds. The room has en-suite facilities and all bed linen is provided.

TWIN ROOM
Room is available for 2 or 4.
Our twin room is ideal for couples or group. The room has two single beds and a set of bunk beds. The room has en-suite facilities and all bed linen is provided.

DOUBLE / FAMILY ROOM
Our double room is ideal for 2 or families of 4/5. The room has a double bed and a set of bunk beds. A fold up bed or cot are available on request (fold up bed extra charge). The room has en-suite facilities and all bed linen is provided.

Location Information

The Benwiskin Centre is located in Ballintrillick, North County Sligo, and approx. 16 miles outside of Sligo Town. Travel North on the N15 to Cliffony, the nearest village to us.

If you are using Public Transport, you should be able to get to Cliffony quite easily. From Cliffony to Ballintrillick, if you do not want to walk, you will need a Taxi - Please call local Taxi - Jack Connolly on 087 770 7113.
