Liked: There aren't many accomodation facilities in Slane and this property provides good service for good money.

Disliked: 6 bunk beds instead of 6 beds, no restaurant within walking distance

Liked: It was a great place. had full kitchen and facilities and some free fresh eggs for tea and brekkie !! and was really more than what we expected from the advertised facilities.

Disliked: Didnt like the operation of the shower - one of those you had to press to keep the water running !!

Liked: The place is well situated - near Newgrange. We booked a double, but got a room with 9 (!) beds- luckily nobody shared our room. Clenliness of the shower could have been better and the water wasn`t running at all during the night, neither in toilet nor at the washbasin... So don`t expact too much and you won`t be dissapointed.

Liked: Slane Farm Hostel is a charming, clean, delightful little place. It is the quietest place I've stayed in Ireland in the past month, and feels like a serious break from everything. If you dont have a car, the bus stop is a bit far from the hostel (1.5mi), but Joanne offered to pick us up at the stop (this may or may not be standard procedure, but it was an appreciated and kind gesture, especially considering the heavy rain).The room was spotless. We booked a private room, but the room itself had a double bed and two bunk beds. However, it *was* a private room, we had it to ourself. Which, quite simply, meant we had a ton of room.If I'm in the area again, especially if I have a car, I will certainly return.

Liked: it is a nice retreat into slanes country side, but very close to the few shops and restaraunts slane has to offer. for anyone wanting to check out newgrange, slane castle etc, a great place to stay.

Liked: Es un B&B de ensueño. Las habitaciones son amplias y limpias. En un entorno muy natural, la pequeña granja es un lugar muy recomendable para pernoctar. A 5 km Slane Castle, y a 45 km de Dublín. Volverémos !!

Liked: Clean and very homey. Country location, good for walks and getting away from it all. Quiet but friendly. Lots of books, free food, commitment to recycling. Sheep just next door. Good place to relax. Parking. Good for families. Might not suit those looking for proximity to a busy town, needing internet access etc but lots of information on the local area and bus available at end of the road.
