Overview
Ashgrove House B&B is situated in the city of Limerick, within 15 minutes of Shannon airport and in close proximity to Bunratty.
The Shannon river at O'Briens Bridge is a wide slow moving and offers excellent fishing for bream, rudd, roach, bybrids,perch and pike. Specimen bream, over 8 lbs, have been recorded here and the Irish reocord was recently smashed with a recorded catch, by two londoners, of 710 lbs in one day's outing. This scenic village has become a well known angling center and hosts major competitions having a good match stretch.
