About Mac Gabhainns Backpacker Hostel

MacGabhainns Backpackers Hostel is located in the heart of the city center, just 5 minutes walk from the railway and bus station. Breakfast includes corn flakes, tea or coffee. Tea and coffee are Free all day.

MacGabhainns is a small hostel with a cool barbeque area in the garden. The hostel also prides itself for having the best showers in town.
We are also located near pubs with traditional Irish music and some fine restaurants that are quite inexpensive. We are just a short stroll from Kilkenny Castle. Our reception is open until 10pm for check-ins.
