Liked: It was located very close to the train/bus station & a short walk from Eyre Square & the main street. Security code required to get into bedrooms.

Disliked: There were no powerpoints in the dorm room or bathroom. And only 2 showers for the girls (even then a guy was using them). The showers were also located the floor below & I had to walk past reception to use them. The pub next door was playing loud music until 12.30am & everytime that you wanted to get into the Hostel you had to buzz reception, & hope that someone would open the door.

Liked: close to everything.

Disliked: only 2 toilets, and some americans who were staying in the hostel were very rude and felt like the toilets should be vacated as soon as they required them, even if you had just gone into them, I think the lack of more than 2 when there are a few women there can be a problem.... otherwise its fine... the hostel cannot control the temperment and manners of its patrons, if they could then the lack of toilets would not have been too much of an issue.

Liked: It's not right across from the bus/train station. It's a little ways down. I met some really cool people here and had an absolute blast. The staff was so helpful and friendly.

Disliked: How close together the beds are

Liked: Location was best! Helpful staff as well. Free internet was excellent.

Disliked: Breakfast could have been better. Maybe more fliers about things to do IN Galway, rather than just for other hostels in Ireland.

Liked: Location was awesome, hostel had what we needed, included breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and generally really helpful. It was pretty funny they recommended a cool pub for dinner and had said if we had got there within 30mins it'd include a free drink so we went and the place had stopped serving meals at 6pm (maybe this was just Saturday).

Disliked: Toilet in room with ensuite bathroom did not work.

Liked: The Location is just awesome. Close to train and bus station and the tourism centre. (There are two here, but both are not far away) The staff is really friendly. I love the basket under the beds for you to put your stuff in. And most important of all, 2 free computers with internet access!!!!!

Disliked: The price is relatively higher. The breakfast is just average.

Liked: Free internet! Free tea and coffee all day! Perfect location. Long breakfast hours.

Disliked: No secure luggage storage—if it doesn't fit in the underbed lockers, or you want to leave your bags for the day after checking out, the only place to put them is under a table in the kitchen.

Liked: I felt very safe and secure here. Fun place, right across from the train station and extremely close to the bus station which was so convenient. The staff was so helpful in finding us bus tours to the Cliffs of Moher and Burren! Also free internet and a free breakfast!

Disliked: Jessica left no negative feedback.

Liked: It was cheap and centrally located, the staff very friendly.

Disliked: The hostel accomodated far too many people for the size of the "fully equipped" kitchen and dining room (which were one room actually) AND number of sanitary facilities (Three showers and two toilets for all female guests) which were also in a horrible condition (water dripping from the ceiling out of a burst pipe, there was mould over the sinks)

Liked: the staff were really helpful and friendlythere were lots of things to do if you liked to spend the evening in the hostel: Books, dvds, TV and even 2 PCs with internet access. They played good music in the common area/kitchen and the atmosphere was really relaxed. Tea and Coffee were available the whole day long and breakfast consisted of cereal, toast, jam, juice ...You can get lockers for your suitcase for € 1,5 and can deposit valuable things at the reception .It's perfect for a seighseeing holiday as well as to go out partying at night. The hostel is in walking distance of almost everything, so it is a really handy place to stay at.

Disliked: Sometimes the toilets were dirty, but I guess there must have been careless people around because they were cleaned regularily

Liked: location

Disliked: the hostel was ok, but they are many more nicer hostels to choose from. hardly any room in the dorms. only one plug socket in a 12 bed dorm that didn't work. to get to the ladies toilets/showers you have to walk past reception. Had to dry my hair in reception and charge things. no free wifi. not much choice at breakfast. depends what you want from a hostel. but I won't be returning.

Liked: Closeness to the bus and trainstation was a big plus and it's in walking distance of everything, really!

Disliked: I think 12 beds in one room is too much, 6 is maximum in my opinion, but that was an experience among others and I wouldn't change it!
