Customer reviewIt was very close to the centre, but the bathrooms/toilets left a lot to be desired and i've stayed in quite a few hostels. |

Customer reviewthe staff are all really nice and helpful, has a friendly atmosphere, and the free internet and wi-fi is great. it was an ok hostel, close to most things, abit rough around the edges. was a bit put off when we arrived and there was a mattress which smelled of urine in the hallway waiting to be removed. |

Karen HigginsI didn't like anything about this hostel and will never be staying there again. I have stayed in hostels the world over and love staying in hostels normally but this was filthy, rooms were absolutely tiny, I booked a four bed dorm and we couldn't all actually stand in the room at the same time. The staff member who checked us in got the booking completely wrong, had put one of my friends in a completely different dorm, wouldn't look at my booking form told me someone else from my club had the 4 bed dorm despite the fact I had booked it weeks in advance and then proceeded to tell my other friends who had booked a girls dorm (who ended up in a mixed dorm) that I had rearranged the bookings - I was extremely frustrated by the whole experience. The bathrooms / shower rooms were absolutely filthy - hugely disappointing experience. Kinlay House or Snoozles hostel (where I have stayed before but they had no availability this time) I would recommend highly but steer clear of the Claddagh Hostel. |

Alicja FajferThis was the best hostel I stayed at in Ireland. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and so were all other guests. The size of my dormitory was not particularly impressive, but enough and there were no problems with noise or cleanliness whatsoever. Another good thing was the possibility to buy tickets for a selection of guided tours. I really enjoyed my stay at the Claddagh Hostel and I am sure I will be coming back very soon. |

Rebecca CollettThe hostel is like living in a big share house. Staff are very friendly, place is kept clean and its a great space to meet people. Just remember, if you do the pub crawl, it starts at the Spanish Arch Hotel, not the actual Spanish Arch :) But if you miss it anyway, the staff know some other great pubs to visit |

Brent LyonsI honestly don't rate places unless they were downright horrible or exceptionally good; this one was of the latter. The atmosphere was more open and friendly than any other hostel I've stayed at. Sam & the staff are actually interested in getting to know & spend time with the guests. I've never felt as much at home & surrounded by warmth as I did at Claddagh. |
