The location of this hostel is just wonderful! There's only a lake, sheep eating around in the field and that's it. Perfect stay if you're looking for a quiet place in the irish nature!

Very nice location in the heart of Connemara, great for hikers and outdoor people, great staff, very safe, equipped accordingly to its purpose, good for sporty families. Very good value for the price.

The kitchen is huge and well equiped. The common room is cozy. The entire place is very clean and well kept. I didnt like the check in time.

Great hiking nearby, in the middle of nowhere, if that's what you're looking for. Very friendly staff with good recommendations. If you want more nightlife options, stay in Clifden instead.

Aweome location as far as views and scenery go but be warned this place is about an hour outside of galway city by bus. youre probably best off staying here if you have your own transport because there are no trains nearby and the busses dont come that often but we did resort to hitchhiking one day and that worked out really well because most of the locals are really friendly

It is located in a beautiful rural setting. The owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming.

The views were exceptional from the hostel. Just beautiful - it's at the base of the mountain and looks over a sweet little lake at the front. You can sit on the steps and sip your wine whilst enjoying this scenie country view. Just exceptional.
The host was very lovely. Extremely helpful. We were interested in golf - she offered us her land phone to ring the golf course nearby to find out their opening times - which was very nice. Thanks!
Big parking area. The dining room looked nice.. although we dint dine in.
